I don't care who she's related to....the statements are entertaining....come fall they should get even better!! Hello, I was just reading the board and decided to register so that if you think it is me posting you can call me by my real name, Janice Daley. It seems like many of you do not know it and I see know reason for you to keep smearing my daughters name when it appears that it is me you are talking about. I hope that this is not asking to much of all of you who think I am posting on this board. Thank you Janice Daley What a peculiar coincidence?

[...and if you think that Sather and Daley aren't as good as Fawcett and Hodge, I suggest you tell them that in person. Dear Sather and Daley, While being very talented players...

Their grammar and sentence composition are certainly comparable. Homonyms are our friends.

I like both Sather and Daley. They are different type of players from Hodge and Fawcett. Both the Bruin players, particularly Sather, are strong ballhandlers and have great versatility. Hodge and Fawcett are the kill-any-ball-that-flies-in-front-of-them types. They can't really pass the ball but Russ seems to be prioritizing shear hitting strength from his leftsides. It was probably a good move for Holloway to transfer UCLA.

Don't bring that up again. It should have been PSU v. UCLA (or USC) for the final 4 spot. We can't help it UCLA was given the Cake Regional. Damned biased committee...

Yes, they did (play well). No arguing that point.

Dear Sather and Daley, While being very talented players... Yet, here is the thing: Sather & Daley - Final Four. Fawcett & Hodge, ...well, not so much. Absolutely true. PSU fell apart, IMO, in that regional. Too much youth, not enough passing. And it wasn't UCLA's fault that USC couldn't pony up to make it to the regional final.

Are you equally sick of Bruin / Pac-10 nay sayers making up similar excuses regarding the Bruins losing to other teams (such as Nebraska in the 2006 national semis)?

Nobody is saying "nay" to the status of UCLA as a top 8 seed and a legitimate contender for the Final Four. That doesn't have anything to do with them being in the easiest of the four regionals. Send PSU to Hawai'i and UCLA to the unbeaten Seattle Dawg Pound home court; do you really think PSU would definitely not have made it to the Final Four but UCLA definitely would have? It's silly, really, because the national final would have been the same two teams either way.
