Wow, Hittle is leading everyone in hitting percentage! Go, Tara! Keep it up!
Is she playing opposite? It seems like she belongs there.

G3: 2 aces by Lowe gets SCU even with HI ... 22-all
both aces off of Ka'aihue ... Lowe has her number right now ...
both teams sensing the need to win this swing game ....

Ka'aihue is still just a true freshman, so I'm sure she'll improve. Are they using Jayme Lee as a passer?

Ka'aihue is still just a true freshman, so I'm sure she'll improve. Are they using Jayme Lee as a passer? for the most part Ka'aihue has been steady tonight. it's just sometimes a server will have your number that's all ... as a passer you just have to really steady yourself ... that and your teammates have to help you out ... the true fault with those two aces was that her teammates weren't calling out to her that it was long, or even gave her the wrong call ... Lee has been playing great defense tonight, but curiously she is not always in the serve receive pattern ...

hard fought 3rd game ... HI takes it 30-28, lead 2-1 in games
big swing by Otineru to end it on a set that was way off the net. she's hitting for a low .114 tonight, but has 12K and 11 digs.
Houston started slow, but is not hitting a whopping .343 on 18K.
Kaufman 9K, and elevated her hitting % in the 3rd game to .318. also has both of HI's aces.
the two liberos Ka'aihue and Walters now even in digs, 17 apiece ...

Houston now hitting .385, 21K, and just had an absolutely ferocious straight down solo block on Lowe.... it came just a few plays after Sanders had one, just as ferocious, on Dowd ...
13 all
