FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Sept. 14, 2007 Bill Kauffman Manager, Media Relations and Publications Phone: 719-228-6800 E-Mail: bill.kauffman@usav.org Logan Tom Training with U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Sept. 14, 2007) - Outside hitter Logan Tom (Hometown: Salt Lake City, Utah; Resides: Long Beach, Calif.), a two-time Olympian in indoor volleyball for the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team, began training with the squad on Sept. 10 after nearly three years away from the program. In addition, Tom was granted an exemption to replace an injured Kim Glass (Lancaster, Pa.) on the preliminary 18-player Team USA 2007 NORCECA Continental Championship roster that was submitted earlier this summer. "Logan's addition to the team is very good news," U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach 'Jenny' Lang Ping said. "She has quality international tournament experience that will be beneficial to the team." For the complete story, go to www.usavolleyball.org/VolleyballNews/news.asp?id=1897.

Great to read that Tom is returning to the national team (after very little hope of making it to Beijing on beach vball).

What happened to Kim Glass? What kind of injury does she have?

Who are you calling an Olympic Itch, Idahooboy.
Reminds me. I hear they're recalling the Idaho quarter. Apparently, two dimes and a nickel taped together with duct tape doesn't work so well in the vending machines.

What happened to Kim Glass? What kind of injury does she have? I hear she and some friends were throwing stones in her house. Lesson learned.

I figured it was because all the duct tape kept getting removed for fixing our rigs up here.

I really thought she'd never join the national team again. I approached her at one of the AVP events and commented that she's needed by the national team. She just laughed back then.
