Ok, I finally figured out the audio thing, didn't realize I had to purchase the audio package for $.00. What the hell is the point of that? P.S. ay, quite bringing Washington into every thread, all you are doing is making people not like UW. There's enough haters as there is. Just chill out, UW will get talked about when they play a match, no need to hijack other match threads. so noted....but for the record I didn't bring it up in this thread

I had that same problem, but I had to rebuy the free audio package after already having selected it. We todd did.

Ay, So which teams would you consider today's current elite, specifically your top 10? There aren't 10. I'm not saying Hawaii isn't a great team, because they are..but recently they haven't challenged for the national title, they just kinda get stuck in the regionals. If you look at the big picture (all the teams), yes Hawaii is definetly in the upper most bracket...but my personal definition of the current elite are the teams that challenge for a national title year in and year out for multiple seasons..Nebraska, Stanford, UW, USC, Penn State etc.

^I think Penn State has been less successful this decade than Hawaii has, if we are going by tournament results.
Hawaii had the recent misfortunes of being very good when USC was unbeatable. ('02, '03)

USC - we eliminated them as fresh as last season in the regionals. Penn State - has not reached the final four in many years. I believe even less recent than Hawaii's three out of four Final Fours fairly recently. So, why then, would you say that Hawaii is not one of the top teams competing for the national title, year in and year out?

It sure was easier on this board when Washington still sucked. Now we get Washington hijackings of Hawaii threads. Someone, please, tell me what this is all about. lol well until the match ACTUALLY begins, it's always fun to stir up emotions are talk about other teams .... but don't worry, once the match actually starts, I'm sure 99% of the thread will be about Hawaii and Nebraska

I would say they are not a top team competing for a title year in and year out, because they aren't. They aren't this year and weren't the last two prior. I would say they are definitely a top team year in and year out. But they haven't been in position to win it, year in and year out.

For any of you Husker fans in the state of Nebraska who are going to get the NET feed, If you're going to DVD it, I'd be interested in negotiating a copy.

Still can't believe this match, with 13,000+ people in attendance, is only being picked up by NET, which was a given anyway. Obviously we are not doing anything in generating excitment for NCAA women's volleyball to the TV networks. CSTV, ESPN network, FSN...nobody wanted to pick up this match?!?

Started on Hawaii's website. Talked about 1 hour, 45 before the match there were thousands and thousand lined up entirely around the building.
