No, he isn't! That story is 3 years old. Blackman has since retired. Though, he is still doing some consulting. He may have had some involvement with hiring a Football, or Men's Basketball coach, I can assure you that Women's Volleyball would not even be, remotely, on his radar. What? A Cal graduate is conducting the search for the new UCLA VB coach!? What a travesty!! Oh, wait...I guess I should reserve that level of public outcry for them hiring a USC grad to helm the Bruin ship!

What about Hugh taking over the program? His wife is a UCLA alumni. That's why he took the US Women's team so he can get a cake DI job right?

Apparently he's making a lot more as national team coach than UCLA could ever provide. He also wouldn't need to deal with recruiting.

Well if you heard someone got hired today you should have asked the person you heard it from; who was hired? makes sense right?
