I heard someone got hired today. I wonder who the new coach is? LOL! Funny! You "heard" but you didn't ask enough who was hired. You preferred to remain in a wondrous state. Funny!

Shall we place our final bets?
Mine goes to Weishoff. I don't know if I could even get even-money for it, though.

Is she even in the running for the job?

I dunno, I still think Jack Bauer is the one for this job. I heard he's been interrogating the AD for the past 2 days - I think he has a shot.

there is no pressure on her immediately to win. The last recruiting class was not so good at UCLA, so whoever comes in will have sometime to recruit

This is UCLA we are talking about. They aren't ever supposed to have a down season. Whatever coach comes in they better at least make the tournament next year or heads will roll. It will be a down year in the Pac-10. Oregon St graduates key players, Washington lost Salvo and Perry and Tama. Cal lost Cutura. USC and Stanford will be the favorites but after that it gets a little thin.

Washington lost Salvo and Perry and Tama. That will come as a surprise to Becky.

Not Becky Perry - Jill Collymore. Sorry, wrong outside hitter. Collymore with her jumpserve was probably more of a loss than if they had lost Perry. I wonder if Perry has a jumpy.

Paula will take the position But she's not even a candidate for the job. I guess that doesn't 100% rule her out -- maybe if the two current candidates pass or get passed by she'll become a candidate and then take the job. But I won't hold my breath.
