I was wondering why so many people were posting videos of her on facebook, then finally one of them had a comment that mentioned she had died.

If I were a gambling man, I'd bet the cause of death has something to do with drugs. Just a hunch really.

Her lifestyle may not have been orthodox, but let's remember that a young woman died. Have some respect.

Her lifestyle may not have been orthodox, but let's remember that a young woman died. Have some respect. And let's not forget how many college students have drug-related deaths that are tragedies. That will directly or indirectly affect the fans, players, coaches, etc.... At USC this year we had 2 tragedies, one death and one near-death. www.nbclosangeles.com/on-air/as-seen-on/USC_Student_Dies_Los_Angeles-111024034.htmlRachel Kim's death was drug related. But she was also a wonderful student with academic potential. She was smart enough to get into USC, which is not easy. And if you think it is you need to get out of the 1970's and take off the Blue and Gold shades. Another drug related near-death: dailytrojan.com/2010/11/01/student-falls-from-sixth-floor-of-birnkrant/Ecstacy played a part in his fall. It is very sad. Thankfully to this day I hear Jackson is doing well. R.I.P Amy Winehouse and Rachel Kim. It saddens me that people's reaction to death is actually a joke. These are young women. Grow up.

The abuse of drugs and alcohol kill-and have for a very long time! Pop culture insists on marketing an "unorthodox" lifestyle and casting shame on those who point out it's harm!! Case in point... The latest Katy Perry song... Blackouts, sex w multiple partners, getting arrested, but hey-it's Friday night and it's what the cool kids do!! Well apparently the cool kids aren't above the reality that their "unorthodox" lifestyle has repercussions! If I feel sorry for anyone it's the loved ones and friends left behind to face the selfishness of drug abuse & a life of excesses!!

This was a result of blatant drug abuse! Although the world has lost a very talented singer, the world also needs to acknowledge that it was her choice to continue in the dangerous lifestyle. She ignored advise and refused the interventions made by those close to her. I for one refuse to respect the choices made by her and do not want my teenage kids or players to idolize such a person. I feel sad for her family and friends and the fact that they will most likely continue to always question themselves. "could I have done more?...maybe she would be alive". This is the true tragedy!!!!

This is the true tragedy!!!! No one is asking you to respect her choices. We're asking you to respect human life by simply offering your condolences and keeping your opinions of her lifestyle to yourself. Her death is NOT the time to comment on how inappropriate you think her actions were. Get a life.
