Interesting. Thanks. Kinda the Wild West when it comes to transfers. like how Alaina Bergsma got "fired" from Criollas de Caguas literally a week into the season. Good thing mets de guaynabo picked her up or else she'd be screwed How so? You elitists think the world owes you a living. All Puerto Rico offers is a (sometimes limited) opportunity to play- albeit pays newbies better for a shorter season than most European clubs.

Superliga final. Set 1: Set 2: Set 3: Set 4: Set 5: The most exciting match up in women's vb this year and we can't even get anything close to HD quality? SMH

I should've checked myself before I watched the entire match with the previous links, those crappy videos should really be removed.
I wonder why none of the Brazilians jump serve?

Effectivenes? Risk vs reward w/ rally scoring? Physical toll (both endurance and career longevity)? IDK- but, it makes sense.

I find it odd that Logan didn't participate in the awards ceremony. I understand she was injured and didn't play but she was still a part of the team. Perhaps she declined because she hadn't played in the playoffs. It appears she was in attendance. I would say this however, I wouldnt find anything logan did or didnt do odd. To say she dances to the beat of her own drum would be an understatement.

Those Brazilans are SOOOOO emotional! Wow.
They even brought it out of Sarah Pavan. She was balling at the conclusion of the match.

It's funny to watch the point scorer sometimes run around the court, like they just scored in a soccer game or watch the setter/libero jump on top Thaisa. Real divas but I prefer the calmer reactions of Unilever, influence of Tom, Pavan, and older players like Fofao.

Physical toll makes no sense considering how many attacks a hitter makes in a match. Some extra jump serves is miniscule relatively. Brazilians have such excellent all-around skills except this one part, wish someone like Fe Garay would develop it.

Just a few months back these brasilenas served USA off the Gold medal stand in the most important tournament in the sport. I think they'll be fine.

The individual players just have better floaters. Serving is definitely not a weak skill in Brazil.

Of course Brazil's floats are good, anyone can see this. As a spectator and fan, I want to see more jump serves. I don't think any of them could even be considered hybrids either.

That's endemic to the women's game, not just Brazil. I can't think of a national team that has more than two jumpservers on it (the Russian and Brazilian starters both have none, IIRC), and most have one or none. Germany, probably the best serving team out there, only has 1 in the starting 6.
