Bell is just a stud athlete and I bet she will be an incredible defender.

I'll be surprised if she gets meaningful playing time in meaningful games. Four years away from organized basketball significantly increases the height of the hurdle she is attempting to clear.

Do you think she'll even go to basketball practice?? I'm thinking Spring of her Senior year would mean a priority of some free time...not another schedule of workouts/practice/travel. She had her volleyball scholarship that no one would have taken away. She probably only agreed to the basketball thing if it meant she didn't really have to work at it. Goodness knows she's earned a little free time to enjoy the end of her college career. Maybe they'll just 'suspend' her for the entire basketball season for 'violating team rules'...i.e. not going to practice. Basketball doesn't need her (based on what other posters say), she's fulfilled her volleyball commitment, and Jerritt got Paulina...everyone's happy. If Khat loves basketball and wants to play...more power to her and icing on the cake for everyone.

Plans for the opening rounds at Gregory have begun.
Pre sale of tickets to the opening rounds begins Wednesday for season ticket holders. $25 for reserved seats for 3 matches is very good.
Looks like A&M is a good bet to return to Gregory for the post season. I am hoping Texas State does not win the Sun Belt conference tournament and returns to Gregory. Same goes for UTSA. I would like to see a couple of different teams, maybe LSU or even SMU if they make the tournament as we have had several of our club players attend that school, including 1 current player.
This presale offer runs from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 – Saturday, Nov. 8 at 11:59 p.m. Central.
ALL SESSION Reserved All-Session: $25 General Admission Adult All-Session: $15 General Admission UT Student/Youth All-Session: $10
Because this offer is not open to the general public, please sign in to your account to purchase tickets on TexasSports.com.
• Patrons may reserve the number of all-session tickets equal to their current number of regular season tickets (maximum of four).
• Because of NCAA regulations, season ticket holders are not guaranteed to receive their regular-season seat locations.
• If reserved orders exceed capacity, tickets will be filled as all-session general admission seats.
The Longhorns will learn their postseason bracket during the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday, Nov. 30. It will be televised live on ESPNU at 8:30 p.m. Central. Exact match times and dates will be announced by Dec. 1.

So if you don't have season tickets to UT volleyball how do you get tickets for the opening round in Austin? I am thinking they will probably sell out in pre-sales.

They won't sell out, GA will be available for sure. And every year for the past several, I've had friends get reserved seats once the pre-sale to season ticket holders is over. All the season ticket holders don't put in an order...some forget and others can't go because of the time of year. They have really shortened up the window of time for the pre-sale so I think even more will forget to take care of it. You need to be quick though reserved won't last long.

One of the problems for reserved seating is that some seats on the lower level are reserved for the visiting teams. So that pushes some reserved ticket holders to the upper level. Just depends on the level of interest.

From a Longhorn message board where one of the writers attended Tuesday's media day and asked Elliott about having Dalton and Collins on the floor at the same time:
"We have to have both of them on the floor the way we're running our offense. Nicole can't go all season long based on health and Chloe's doing such a nice job it gives us those opportunities. This season right now that's what we're looking at and that's what we're sticking with, and we've had some success with it."
He didn't really answer the question, but did give info about why the 6-2 has been the offense of choice this season.

If Dalton is not fully healthy, why is she playing? Why not rest her and let her heal instead of play her and run the risk of aggravating her injury? And if Collins is doing so well, why is she only playing 3 rotations? (These are all rhetorical questions).
