The only question remaining for next year is, will Megan Huff be put on a Basketball Scholarship and Kalei Adolpho be put on a Volleyball Scholarship? What differnce would that make? Dave getting a scholorship? I can assure you, that's the last of his worries. Huff got a scholorship for a reason. She's a good player and Dave obviously sees potential

Whereas in basketball she is an outstanding player. I see Huff redshirting in volleyball, but playing right away in basketball.

Does anyone think it's possible Dave will run a 6-2. With koelsch playing all six rotations and higgins being subbed in the front with passi when she gets there?.
I think a 5-1 is better with higgins and koelsch competing for the OPP spot because IMO, she's very good and too talented to play bench.

I'm almost 100% sure Kyra was a walkon. She probably walked on with the hope of landing a scholie. When Dave did not offer her one she bailed.
Cant blame her though. She would have been forced to pay her own way thru school and then face an uphill battle to unseat Higgins. Very tough for mainlander to walk on....pay non resident tuition.....then play volleyball. Her burden last season was lighten by her sister being here. Now that Kaela is gone she would be on her own.
Better off walking on at a Calif school and being close to home.

Kyra had amazing grades, so I'm pretty sure she could of gotten an academic schollie. I just think since her sister left, and she knew she would be a bench player she left. I don't think it has anything to do with scholarship. But regardless, best of luck too her wherever she goes.

Star Advertiser article said Kyra Goodman had highest GPA on team barely beating her sister Kaela. Maybe she has bigger things in mind. Too bad for UH because she is a talented setter. Higgins will do a great job but she would have been challenged by Goodman who is taller, experienced and obviously intelligent. Disappointed that Higgins didn't get more experience last year because Dave was set on a 5-1 with Uiato. Dave may let Koelsch set but she is just an okay hitter and okay setter.

IMO, she is a better hitter than setter. She definitely has starting potential at the OPP position or a 6 rotation player in a 6-2. Does anybody know the last time Dave ran a 6-2?
