Can I just say with the SGA and writers strikes lasting so long there is a lot of garbage on the air nowadays. At least ESPN.moved monday night football to ABC.
It really burned me up that I was willing to spend the summer watching reruns of law and order organized crime,.but NBC completely took it off the air and instead went with repeats of svu, which i just happened to have seen before. UGH.
And if there's one show that seriously needs to go the way of the dodo it's NCIS. The current cast just sucks.

To my benefit, someone uploaded the first three seasons of Dear John to Youtube. I always get a few chuckles out of each episode and Isabella Hoffman sure is easy on the eyes. đ. It ran from 1988-1992. Billie Bird who also played one of Bob Hartley's patients on the Bob Newhart Show is also featured on Dear John.

Production has to restart, cast return for filming, and the film crew of course has to edit the footage, add in music, etc. Its gonna be a while yet I am afraid before "regular shows" resume.

WW2 drama about the air war over Europe. Looks very interesting:
It reminds me very much of that 1990 movie "Memphis Belle", starring Matthew Modine about a B-17 crew on their last bombing mission over Nazi Germany. I loved that film:

Iâm on the 8th season of Suits. Iâm kinda over it. Not the same since Mike and Rachel left.
I watched âNyadâ the other night. About the long distance swimmer Diana Nyad. Really good! This woman was trying to swim from Cuba to Florida. At my age. Man do I feel like a sloth.

WW2 air war over Europe has also been done in the classic Twelve O'Clock High, starring the late legendary Gregory Peck. So its gonna be a challenge to spin a new angle on it. Still, I am a fan of WW2 air drama, so I will definitely be watching it if I can.

There are new seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Fargo coming soon. I just discovered that I have not watched the most recent seasons of both. I think I was vaguely aware of the third season of Fargo, but I never watched it. I somehow was not even aware of the 11th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I have the entire Friday Night Lights and Season One of Picket Fences on disc. With scripted programs not slated to return until mid-February at the earliest time to watch some other stuff. Mentioned it in the movie thread but got through Batman Begins and the Dark Knight.

Currently watching The Boys. Unexpectedly good first season. I thought it would suck, frankly, because I generally don't like superhero stuff. Funny and surprisingly violent. LOL! Will binge watch season 2 in the next couple of days.
Also in my queue for the rest of the next two weeks: Counterpart, seasons 1 and 2. I saw season 1 a few years ago but forgot most of the details except, of course, the obvious parallel universe premise. Will have to watch it again.
Thereafter, who knows...

Also, for The Boys, the actor who plays the lead character Homelander is Antony Starr. I was thinking...where the f--- did I see this guy before? Just racking my brain all day. (I know I can look things up but I like to torture myself and figure it out on my own. I feel more satisfied when I do.) Finally, it hit me. He was the lead character in the TV show Banshee, another ultra violent series. He's good in both. Homelander in The Boys: --- Lucas hood in Banshee:

Caught a short clip of a show called From. Horror series that centers on a small town where if you come across it while driving somewhere, youâre not leaving. Life goes on as normal during the day, but once the sun sets every resident retreats to their home quickly, locking and covering all doors and windows, as THEY come out of the surrounding woods at night.
Want to say theyâre vampires, but Iâm only in the second episode of season 1.
Also came across an article from earlier this year where the show is renewed for Season 3âŚso itâs got a following if itâs renewed for a 3rd season.

It's a top 10 or so show overall for me.
