Rosenthal-Dalhausser USA [1] Gibb-Patterson USA [16] 2-0 (21-14, 21-12)
Yikes... Think Jake/Casey shut it down a bit in the 2nd set?

I am seeing on the rankings that Gibb and Patterson are ranked as the 4th best US team. Qualifiers? Which one do you think is actively looking or another partner? Patterson will ask Tri....my prediction. I would think maybe Doherty. They have experience together and Casey needs a point scorer. Doherty when he is playing well will always get his team points with his blocking whereas Tri is a good blocker but not as imposing. The 1 and 2 seeds both start off playing their countrymen this week. Interesting

I love this new live scoring. It even shows the next match on that court so I know exactly when to fire up the live streams to catch the teams I'm interested in.

After beating Fendrick/Sweat, ROss/Day lost and then forfeited their last match due to injury. Wonder what happened.....

I think you've got it reversed - Fendrick/Sweat lost their first two matches and then forfeited the third. Either one of them was struggling with an injury, or they looked at the pool standings and figured out they were out no matter what, and said "Eff it - let's get out of here and catch an earlier flight to L.A."

No way I'm navigating the crappy fivb site to find it

I believe Fendrick hurt her thumb on the first play of the game. then was 0-2 and decided instead of making it worse to forfeit

Interesting yeah but tri is way more consistent in setting, blocking, siding out, serving and for sure passing. lol ryans only good one out of 3 games lol. I like ryan but you cant be that inconsistent and win at that lever. maybe do good here and there but not win!!

Seems to be a lot of parity on the men's side right now. I'm noticing a lot of teams doing well one week and not the next throughout the year....Rogers/Brunner, Herrera/Gavira, Lupo/Nicolai and on and on...
