Please stop doing this. You have done it in almost 2 dozen threads even ones that are at the top. If you have nothing to contribute then don't post.

I makes zero sense that the second time around HAS to be about playing time. If that isn't the main issue for the transfer it wouldn't be the primary objective. Clearly for you it would be, but each player is different. Actually it is about playing time, because coaches don't pursue transfers unless there is a positional need on their current team, so whether the player likes it or not, that's what it's about. Transferring into a non-scholarship situation is a different story, you can have any priority you want. I think you are both right and wrong. It is mostly about a player's dreams and self-expectations, which include a myriad of things. They only get one pass through volleyball and they want to make the best of it.

Ok, let me clarify. Not trying to be disrespectful at all.. Paulina is a GREAT player. I was making more of a general statement. EVERY scholarship layer at Penn State is great. You have to know if you go there, you may not play much, even though you are really good, because everyone else there is really good too. So, I do not feel bad for the players sitting on the bench, because they could have gone somewhere else and been the star. Personally, I would rather be the stater on a middle of the pack team than a bench warmer on a really good team. That's just me, feel free to disagree. But let me tell you something to all you volleyball junkies, like me, 90 percent of the general population could not even tell you who played for the national championship last year. I would bet that 90 % of the people on here could though. So at the end of the day it's a lot more fun to be starting/playing on ANY team than sitting on the bench on a really good team. So winning a national championship on Penn State is really cool and something you will always remember, but if you never got in the game, it doesn't count for much in my opinion.

Same problem, different location
However, she could still be the first player to win NC at two different schools

I can't believe that she can't beat out any of the starters. If not starting, I wonder if she's going to transfer after the season. If so, I am guessing probably one of the Florida schools.

Than you have a low expectation out of yourself. Great players tend to want to play with other great players.

This is what I said right when Texas got her. There's a reason she wasn't a starter for psu. To inconsistent. I said it before if she believed she was that good she would have had no problem beating out freshman. I agree if she wanted playing time Texas was wrong choice. Like everyone else has inferred, Florida would have been her best chance

I believe she is a good player but to start for Texas or psu as well as a few other teams u have to be elite. To much talent on those teams.

It's too early to know what's up with Prieto at Texas. Elliott is notorious for his lineup variations before conference.

She's to inconsistent. That's why she hasn't solidified a starting spot on either team. There's only a handful of teams in country she prob not gonna start for and Unfortunatly she's choose two of those teams

I'm not giving up on Paulina. Yes, it would have been great if she could have already solidified one of the pin hitter positions, but transition isn't always easy.
Next season, with Eckerman and Bell gone, Texas will have following pin hitters returning for 2015:
Tiffany Baker - senior Amy Neal - senior Paulina Prieto - junior Pilar Victoria - junior
Plus, two incoming Top 10 recruits in Micaya White and Yaasmeen Bedhart-Ghani.
So, there is still plenty of time in Paulina's career to contribute at Texas. If not this year, she would still have 2 additional seasons to reach her potential.
