No live stream today. AVP website says Saturday and Sunday only for streaming.

Kerri/April with a 21-6 win in the second round. Wow!

I got to say the women side is looking fairly bleak in the AVP. The few names that have a small chance (very small) chance to beat April and Kerri are once again on Fendi/Brooke side. Nicole/Dowdy and SummerDay. Oh well maybe next year some of the missing vets will play after seeing the results from this year. The men at least have some good competitions going this year.

Read my post and realized that came out wrong. Hoping that in the future some of these young players will improve as they get more experience under their belts and find the right partners for each other.

Tree has a point since this event allows more teams for the quali's to make the big show. Let's hope future events follow this scheme

The Rosie/Phil beatdown of Dana/Vinnie must've been pretty funny to watch. Gibb/Patterson continue to struggle....hmmm. Finally a real tourney where these guys have to play upwards of 4/5 matches in a day. Nobody has any details of any matches on Saturday??

Summer just blasted a ball past Kerri and followed through into the net. She may still have a finger caught. No call of course because thats now the rule. That is just awful

Summer Day playing their best match of the year but same old problems cropping up. At 3-3 in Game three, Summer hits off Kerri. April plays it up and Kerri has to bump the ball over backwards from around 5-7 feet off. She plays it short but the ball clears the net by maybe 5 feet, its not a particularly good shot. Neither Summer nor Emily is fast enough to get it. Hard to think of a top team that ball falls against

After a good game 1 and 2, Kerri/April turn it on in Game 3, Kerri starts going to the net, and they blow Summer Day off the court. From 3-3 to 7-3, three balls in a row go down against Emily and Summer that just should not fall but that is such a slow team, that they dont scramble well at all.
Also the fact that Ross/Walsh didnt even bother to have Kerri block full time until game 3, says a lot about how weak the womens side is right now
