Does anyone know why none of the Saturday matches are at least on SECN+? There are actually two matches on SECN+... I just forgot to include that when I was typing Saturday's match-ups. Miss State @ Auburn - 1pm EST Arkansas @ Kentucky - 7pm EST

Offensive Player of the Week
Mackenzie Dagostino • Florida
Junior • S • 5-10 • Tampa, Fla. Dagostino averaged 11.62 assists per set in a 2-0 week for the Gators. She turned in her third double-double of the season with 49 assists and 11 digs as the Gators defeated Ole Miss, 3-1, to win the SEC outright Friday in Oxford. Her 49 assists were her most in SEC play, while her 11 digs were her second-most this season and also most in conference play. The SEC's leading server had two service aces Sunday in the 3-1 win at Arkansas to contribute to UF's seven in the match and lead Florida in the category. Dagostino also racked up seven kills on the weekend, including a season-tying five in a balanced offensive effort at Arkansas.
Defensive Player of the Week
Mikaela Christiaansen • South Carolina
Senior • L • 5-9 • Tucson, Ariz. Christiaansen averaged 6.11 digs per set as South Carolina earned victories at Tennessee and at Georgia. She recorded 33 digs vs. Georgia, a career high and a school record for a four-set match. The 33 digs are also the most in a conference match this season.
Freshman of the Week
Stephanie Aiple • Texas A&M
Freshman • S • 6-1 • Round Rock, Texas Aiple averaged 11.14 assists per set for the week and also hit .400 and averaged 2.71 digs per set over two wins this past week for the Aggies. She returned to the starting lineup and directed the A&M offense to back-to-back .330-plus hitting percentages and a combined .339 for the week as the Aggies moved into a tie for fourth place in the league standings. In the 3-0 sweep against Missouri, Aiple had 37 assists and 10 digs to record her team-leading seventh double-double of the year.

So the liberos combined for 60 digs in a four set match. Pretty impressive defensive play on both sides of the net.

Or a combination of both...and I think it was the Georigia outside hitter who plays actually left back while on the back row

Good stats for both liberos but if you considered who USC was playing this weekend and the match between USC and Georgia, the liberos' stats do look good. The USC-Georgia match, there were not many hard hits on either side of the net since both were playing tentatively.

I agree with the entire group above with possibly one exception but i think a great job of picking the team. I didnt know that 18 players got selected for all SEC. Think Aubrey Edie should have been included as well but dont know the cutoff number was a hard 18 or not. Freshman team spot on

It is a little middle heavy, but then again the position of strength in the SEC appears to be middles.

Freshman team should have been middle heavy also. Lawrence from Alabama was ranked in top 20 in 3 categories (20th Hitting%, 14th Blocking and 7th Aces) with more total kills, blocks and aces than Brown. Reasor and Tillis didn't make the top 20 in any statistical category.

Freshman team is exactly the six positions and a libero so i have no issue at all with that
And Brown and Alhassan are statistically better than Lawerence at the middle position

Isn't it weird to release all-conference honors with matches still to be played?

Both were great this year and fully deserve the recognition. Just seemed that they lowered the standards to force OH selections after choosing Hutson. McNeil at South Carolina was actually much better statistically than either Reasor or Tillis. I just think Freshmen All SEC should be the 7 best freshmen in the conference, not the best 1 or 2 freshman at each position.
