CAL POLY takes set 1 ,...25-21 3-3 in set 2.
The ending was not so good,...POLY loses in 4.
Congrats to the Wahines of UH,...all the best in the NCAA's.
One more match,...UCSB v. CAL POLY at the Mott. Nothing riding but pride and bragging rights for a year,...which should be more than enough. (Interesting, no seniors,...no senior nite for the last match of the season.)
GoPOLY!!!

CAL POLY's head coach Crosson needs to find a 6'3-6'4 MB transfer player.
Someone who can come in immediately and contribute at the net.
Jenn Keddy where are you?
GoPOLY!!!

Coach Crosson and CAL POLY signed two for 2015. (kinda old news)
Adlee Van Winder 6'1 OH from Vintage HS. Her mom, Kelly, and dad, Jim, both attended CAL POLY some 30 years ago. Kelly was an All-American at CAL POLY in volleyball.
Katherine Brouker, a Libero, from Santee, CA., West Hills HS also signed.
GoPOLY!!!

Kelly's auntie to this exotic beauty: I've been to Mott Gym on a number of occasions including the 80s when Cal Poly was #1 (mid 80s i'm recalling). Wilton had some very nice teams in those mid80s. Kelly Strand was VERY aggressive, unlike Lisa (@ UH) tho both played middles as 6 footers. Poly never made it out of the stacked NW Regionals however and I'm going to say that the furthest that they made it was into a quarterfinals with Kelly as one of their stars. It's been so long. Btw, do they still have that big letter 'P' on the hillside above San Luis O ? I also recall that nasty chewing gum wall in town which Seattle also has one at Pike's Market.

I had thought that Jon was going to resurrect the program. G-d rest his soul.
is it for certain that at being 'P'olytechnic s, they'd engrossed within heavy books and computer programs missing that much needed face-to-face interaction (eye contact, surely) which aids the self-esteem? Dunno.
Carbillo Hwy is a must too.
Go Poly!
