I remember when it was considered rude to have this conversation before Halloween. Then we kinda started in around Columbus Day, but September 14th? Really? We just fly right through National Pancake Day (Sept 26) to Sept 14? I'm going to take a pass on the dark side of this one for a couple of weeks and say that to replace those coaches you are all firing, I think the list starts with Matt Ginipro of Ap State, Barry Goldberg of American, and Marci Jenkins of Radford, Chad Callihan of Wyoming, and from the Assistant ranks how about Brittney Dildine of Wisconsin and Ryan McGuire at FSU. Not saying they jump at anything (I've heard Barry is at American for life) but I would start with those names. I would put Kyle Robinson of LIU on your list, they just beat Michigan State.

Also, going for conference title #5 (in 7 years).

It's funny that Barry at American has been there for a long while now, and no one mentioned his name for anything. He did a good job but really winning the conference year in and year out is expected when the scholarship numbers are so unbalanced. Then he finally has one really good year nationally and now he is suddenly a hot coach?

And there are a number of programs that have a scholarship advantage and still manage to screw things up.

Is it safe to put Rob Patrick on this list? Tennessee was swept last night, at home, by Austin Peay. Ouch. Tennessee lost to Austin Peay and Memphis in back-to-back home matches. In-state humiliation at its own tournament. That's a low point. Tennessee might never have done that in any sport.

How hot is Hazelwood's seat at Mississippi State? Only 5 wins on the season so far and 0 wins in conference.

Charlie Weis Brady Hoke CJ Werneke - I hear he got a yellow card. OOOOOH! CJ will stay till his contract runs out. They have so many other problems that he is more safe then not! He got already 7 wins (not sure if he will get any more with his schedule). But even more important he got a very good freshmen OH in Meme Fletcher. She is the best player he recruited probably for last 4-5 years.

How hot is Hazelwood's seat at Mississippi State? Only 5 wins on the season so far and 0 wins in conference. After watching them play LSU last night it is amazing she lasted so long. The team they put on the floor just wasn't able to physically compete with LSU. They hit .000 for the match compared to .368 for LSU. They don't serve tough at all - I guess they are just trying to get it in.
