Or, you can watch Penn State at Wisconsin from the front row on the end line for 5 bucks, provided you get there when the doors open. End line seats are the best.

They really are. I was so happy the Badgers were home last weekend and I could watch from the end zone. I missed having that opportunity in Minnesota.

If nebraska cost that much, how in world are they still in the black. Genuinely curious, because like hawaii, I would think they wouldn't be in the black Sounds like you meant in the Red. In the Black would mean the Husker Volleyball program (Like the Wahine volleyball program) is turning a profit. It is in the black.

$356.20 on StubHub. Move up to Row 6 and it's $294.05. That's really incredible and a testament to a) the Husker fan base and b) having great volleyball programs play each other with a history of memorable matches. It won't be as much fun, but I'm glad my tickets to watch Nebraska at Maryland will cost $5! Just because people are asking those prices, that doesn't mean they are getting that much. A lot of people throw out a line hoping someone will bite. If they don't they'll end up using the tickets themselves or reduce the price dramatically. Before I had season tickets I used to go down to the Coliseum and bought tickets out front. Even for BIG games such as undefeated and #1 PSU and Illinois, I never paid more than face value. IMO, someone would have to be insane to pay 20 times face value. Or.... they are in a MUCH higher tax bracket than am I.

For this amount of money, I expect to get laid. In Hawaii, the visiting team always gets lei'd.

Agree, although I don't have the exact numbers, but I believe NE is the top revenue producing volleyball program in the country. They have been in the black since the move from the Coliseum to the Devaney beginning last season. With current revenues of at least 1.7 mil('base' ticket sales) plus. And with 'total' volleyball program expenses of somewhere around 1.3 mil. * Not to shabby for a state with a population of 1.8 mil. If I am reading this right, that is only a net of $400,000. At last check, The Wahine program brought in $1.18 million over their expenses. That's BS. According to this website, you're only off by a million or so. college-sports.findthebest.com

They are slowly making some progress.

For $30 more, you can get a Category A ticket to the Women's Final in Rio. Can you? Every recent Olympics, getting tickets at face value has been a lottery situation unless you are connected in some way. Good point. Was going off of face-value released recently.

The Hawaii numbers above include revenues from ticket sales, camps, a portion of TV and radio rights fees, concessions, merchandise, NCAA or WAC payouts and other streams. I believe the Nebraska numbers are JUST base ticket sales......

Correct The 1.7 is bbase tickets Doesn't include luxury boxes etc How much of the revue generated by tickets is being used for the operation of the Devaney center? No one from Nebraska has been able to post financial data, who are we to believe? I believe Nebraska, like Hawai'i, is in the black but I doubt that the program has generated over a million in revenue yet, even with the ridiculous cost of tickets at Devaney.

You guys just need to hire some accountants from Hollywood, and then you'll find that your programs get whatever profit or loss you want them to get.
