I paid about $300.00 for my Wahine season tickets, which is not bad. My only complaint is that Shoji doesn't listen to any of us when we criticize his coaching decisions, lol. $50 plus $6 service tax................$56 total For Southern Cal and you can sit where ever you want.............no assigned seats. I edited my post, bigfan. Can you please edit your post or create a new one so you can reply to my current post? I realize that it won't change your response but still.

That is a bargain considering Nebraska charges much more for much less, including a pedestrian atmosphere and overall retirement home vibe. My only complaint is that Shoji doesn't listen to any of us when we criticize his coaching decisions. Heck, there are plenty of really astute volleyball tacticians who sit near me (self-proclaimed of course) that could teach a legendary coach like Dave Shoji a thing or two. lol. And you base your claim because you've been to how many matches at Devaney? Or even anywhere in Nebraska? They should get the band to come down to the floor and play music while walking formations a la Ohio State University marching band. I always wanted a marching band to do that pivotal scene from Empire Strikes Back where Darth Vader cuts off Luke's hand with his light saber, followed by "Luke, I am your father." I think it can be easily done.

Don't NE charge a seat fee as well? I have been to several matches over the years. I would not call it a snooze fest. By the way I do not have season tickets.

Eh, when you sell out 200+ in a row, the atmosphere is going to be a little different because everyone kinda knows each other... It's less of a retirement vibe, and more of a family environment. Lots of middle-aged folk bringing their kids and such. When the Huskers do well, the place is LOUD. There's no doubt about that.

I paid $110 for season General Admission tickets to Washington. But that gets me in to all the volleyball (and the soccer, gymnastics, softball, baseball, too). Oh yeah, and that actually covered two tickets, one for me and one for my dad.

I had to stop back in to say that I hope everyone knows that I am just kidding about the Nebraska Volleyball environment being boring. I say that every year, just to be irritating. I am actually impressed by what Nebraska has been able to do with the upgrades to the Devaney Center. It's good to know that the Nebraska Volleyball Program is in the black, I think it's good for our sport. To be completely honest, the only thing that bothers me about Nebraska volleyball is Coach Cook's efforts to move the Women's Volleyball season (Indoor) to the Spring.

Such a pity that a great poster has lost it. LBJ thought he could win the Viet Nam War. Always sad to see somebody crash and burn. Is Bik a personal adviser to Chriss Christie?
