Get used to this special about the PAC-12 all star team in China because it'll be on before and after every volleyball game this year on the PAC-12 network. Personally, haven't seen the whole thing yet, so at least it's new for me this time around. Sounds like it was an awesome (if sometimes challenging) trip for the young women.

It is a pretty good special. The end credits are the best.

Madi, when the game is close, set Inky at every available opportunity. No matter what the blockers are doing, it is Stanford's best chance for a point.

This is the first time I'm seeing Cal this year. They really do look bad. They have 7 DS/Ls on their roster but can't find passing and I thought Smith was supposed to be more of an immediate impact player in terms of hitting. ... Stanford's not even a particularly tough serving team. I think this is probably the best Stanford serving team since Klineman's senior year. Although that's not saying much.

It is a pretty good special. The end credits are the best. You can tell many of the players struggle to understand the unusual customs, odd dialect, awkward body language and quirky behavior of Jim Moore.

It is a pretty good special. The end credits are the best. I wonder if they had to use special effects, or just told the 3 young women to use their hang time?

Don't know whats up with the dude in the 1st row facing the camera periodically waving and twirling a bright orange piece of cloth. Trying to distract UCLA? Trying to get 15 seconds of fame?
15-13 UCLA at the media timeout.
Kelly Tennant looking great!

Lowe with her 1st kill for the 16th UCLA point?
Then, UCLA lets a free ball fall harmlessly in the middle of the court.

23-20 UCLA- TO USC. Soft kill by UCLA to an empty middle court followed by hitting error by Bricio on a hard down the line attempt.

They are saying Lowe has 4 kills already, so I obviously missed a couple. Obviously need another glass of wine.
UCLA TO after USC cuts it to 24-23 UCLA, with Bricio at the service line.

I see we have segued to the USC-UCLA match on this thread. However, what struck me about the Stanford match was that in Sets 1 and 3, Stanford passed well, hit in system, and played pretty much textbook volleyball. In Set 2, they passed poorly and spent most of the set out of system, and looked like the bad news bears for much of that set. They look like the number one team when they pass well, but I think there are a lot of other teams who can convert much more efficiently when they are out of system. Just my observation.
