22-25, 25-20, 15-1 ASU def Va Tech. in round of 8. Not sure WHAT happened there. It was a typo. I think it was 10 or 11.

I heard that UCLA was at the tournament recruiting a middle and libero rom Arizona State and the setter from Oshkosh.
I watched the ASU vs VT game where VT won game one but fell apart in game two. They were down 7-14 (match point ASU) and the middle Albus served 5 points in a row to bring the score to 12-14 before ASU finally earned match point

Just out of curiosity, is there any history of kids actually getting recruited out of NCVF programs and getting legitimate offers from D1/D2/D3 programs?

The libero on Arizona State is a sophmore named Griff Galvin who already played a season at UCSD... is it really plausible for him to start over Jackson Bantle? They're the same age... confused on why UCLA was recruiting him too.

Brent Hilliard (LBSU Nat'l Champion, USA bronze '92) was spotted on a Humboldt State team. On that note, recently I can think of Ian C. (Irvine), Oliver D. (UCSB) and Jake W. (Fresno State) making the reverse trip from D1 to collegiate club and making an impact.

This is club volleyball. The competition is poor. 99% of the kids are just playing for fun and there are hardly any serious "coaches". It was great to see an exciting atmosphere again for the Men's D1 final, but this is not NCAA vb. The best kids had a chance to play somewhere and chose a more relaxed, fun level of play. Good for them.
Let's talk about NAIA tournament coming up and the NCAA D1-III championships. These are top notch players.

There were years where club teams were invited to Cali tournaments....no longer invited. They were beating some D1 teams. Good club teams(past and present) were equally as good, if not better than the best D3 programs and could compete with mid level D1 teams. I've seen it, I've played it. Arizona 99 and 00 would have smoked any D3 team and caused problems for some D1 teams.
