Congrats to a deserving Wisconsin squad. Sheff has done another bang up job. Can't wait to see their bracket.
Do the Boilers get in? Maybe. Do they go far? Doubtful. The wheels have come off the wagon and not sure that Shondell(s) can fix the issues before Round 1.

For the boilers, its the passing. Clear as day why they are struggling away from home. Seems like they spent most of the night out of system. Great hitting talent, but it can't be used fully.

What is your sense of the problem? I've only seen Purdue a few times, all in West Lafayette. They played pretty well against ILL and well against PSU. They started out well against WI, but then lost the initiative. I haven't seen the other losses. Their road record is not very good. Why have the disappointed in the other matches? What changes on the road? I doubted Purdue all season. I orginally posted an article at the beginning of the season highlighting Purdue and how they were hoping to reach the Final Four and now that just seems completely out of the question. They are easily the most disappointing team this season. Some could argue USC but Nwanebu still isn't 100% although that an excuse but to me Purdue has all the weapons to be great just really slumped. I look back on the match against Penn State I think if they would have beaten them at home they could have carried that momentum into more wins but they didn't. You and me both then. In fact, I recall the first time Purdue played Wisconsin this season I attributed much of their woes that night to poor play on the outside, and a couple Purdue fans really ripped into me. Strangely enough I don't seem to hear from those people anymore... Congrats to Wisconsin. Winning the B1G outright is certainly a major, major accomplishment.

I will preface this by saying Purdue is one of my favorite teams. But the team that played tonight does not like a tourney at large team. Are they better than most of the AQs? Sure. But it doesnt work that way.
Also, I saw 3-4 double contacts in set 3. They must have decided to lighten up.
Who was the former Badger who loaned her Big Ten ring out last year? I bet she didnt think she would get it back so soon.
Rainbow must out partying. I am sure there will be a report forthcoming.
