That little girl wears a #3 t-shirt that it looks like her mom made for her, home screen printing job. Courtney has referred to her in interviews before as her favorite fan.

So I was talking to my neighbor, to whom I gave one ticket. He said that there were lines of people looking for tickets, and lines of people to GIVE AWAY extra tickets that they couldn't use all being coordinated in the lobby of the fieldhouse. Now that's how you grow the sport. When they start being scalped above face value, I will be sad.

Next year's Early season tourney: 3 matches, two days!
You would see some very "green" volleyball with 6 freshman coming in.

One thing not yet noted on this thread: Thanks for the excellent shopping trip from 2008-2011, Pete Waite! Then cooked by Chef Sheffield (who added two ingredients of his own)

Would be interesting to know how Pete would have done with this group. I get the impression that Sheff has done a simply masterful job at motivating this team and the individual players. He also laid out a clear team identity that built on the strengths of the players he had. Morey and Bates have been inspired additions that only reinforced that. Would have liked to see what Kriskova would have done.
But yes, Waite did great recruiting this bunch, as much for their personality as their skills.

On the good side, Bates is now an experienced player because Kriskova got hurt. If Kriskova can come back healthy, that bodes well for the next two seasons.
Also, badgerbreath, I don't know how long it has been since you've visited Madison, but if it has been a while, you won't recognize the place. I came in 1997, and I the only holdovers I remember for sure are State Street Brats and the Triangle Market. Maybe B-Side Records. Gentrification has come, and I am not sure it is a good thing.

Well the Capitol is intact. For now. And the University has not YET crumbed.
But yes, condos, high rises, U-square gone, Kohl Center.
Oh, the disgusting Mickie's Dairy Bar is still there.
The Fieldhouse looks about the same too, although they replaced some seats and put some boards under the bleachers to keep people from falling theough.

Congrats to a fine season to the Badgers, the B1G Champ. Enjoy it as we want it back next year Thanks for the good wishes. Considering there are 7 players going out and 6 coming in, a repeat would be a pleasant surprise. I am hoping the 2015 team can match the success of 2004. Only one month until we start Wisconsin 2015 thread!
