I guess the obvious choice for COY is Dunning, but really good job by Rubio, Beth, Liz, and Terry.

I guess the obvious choice for COY is Dunning, but really good job by Rubio, Beth, Liz, and Terry. So the guy who worked in a six-rotation freshman OH, a redshirt freshman setter in the 6-2, and a freshman converted MB at Opp (before replacing her with another freshman for the last 4 matches of the season) while moving a former 6-rotation OH to libero, resulting in a 2-loss season, a top-seed in the tournament, a #3 AVCA final ranking, and the only loss by the consensus #1 team in the country is not only not a contender for coach of the year, but doesn't even make your top-5 in the Pac-12?

Does anyone know when the PAC 12 awards come out? Last year they came out on Dec 3.

Congratulations to a player I continuously praise, Taylor Whittingham for earning the PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Week award!
On another note - Anne Marie looks to be playing better!

He returned six starters (all upperclassmen), including the NPOY and an All-American opposite, and replaced 3 seniors with 3 top-15 recruits (Schwan was #19).

Correction. He returned 5 starters, Strickland was not the starting Libero last year. So of the 9 players that normally play in a 6-2 4 were new players or playing a new position. So a 44% turnover. Part of coaching is recruiting and bringing those recruits in as contributing players. A 44% turnover, and the year the UW just posted Jmac isn't one of the top 2-3 coaches this year? ? Oh well, in my eyes he's COD (Coach of the Decade).

I'm surprised the committee did not let all 12 PAC teams in!
