If i'm wrong, it will probably be between these six: 3 in (USD, Vtech, Seton Hall) 3 out (CSUN, SMU, Pacific) I'm not sure how the committee is going to judge CSUN, or if they like Pacific as much as I do. Or we'll see if they disagree with SMU. All in all, i crunched a lot of numbers and did the overall body of work and felt that the last at-larges chosen had the best criteria as set by the committee. Good work as usual. I think VirgTech is out, replaced by SMu or UoP. Otherwise I agree with your look at criteria.

Unfortunately, I think CSUN--with its loss last night to UC Irvine--played itself out of the tournament.

looking at Massey ratings: UOP 25 Virginia Tech 60 Lipscomb 69 Minn 36 Mich St 32 North 46 I would have UOP & Minn in versus Va Tech & Lipscomb. Minnesota by virtue of their win over Mich St. Lipscomb nothing strong about their resume whatsoever, a win over Kansas gets them in?? yuk. regarding Va Tech, if the NCAA is gonna penalize Northridge for losing to SB, Irvine, & Davis - then Va Tech shouldn't get by with losses to Clemson(x2) & Wake Forest. Northridge & Ohio definitely played themselves out. Virginia Tech & UOP gonna be real interesting UOP stands out as the toughest call if they are left out. I just don't see how they can leave UOP out, their resume screams out to be in the tournament versus Seton Hall, Va Tech, Lipscomb. www.masseyratings.com/rate.php?s=cvol2014&sub=11590Lipscomb gets in because of an RPI in 30s, top-25 win, 2 top 50 wins. Thats enough (unfortunately)

Not even close in your at large picks or sub-regional pairings. I guess everyone from USC is having a bad season. Are you not familiar with selection criteria? USC hater? Plz let me know what your deal is so I can understand where your negativity stems from.

Tech played the toughest schedule of all NCAA bubble teams, and is receiving an RPI bonus but no penalty, therefore I'm squeezing them in. I think you might be right though with Pacific. Pacific should get in over SMU if they leave Tech out.

Let's all hold hands and pray for no BYU in Eugene. You would rather have Oregon go to Provo?

Pablo and Massey have Purdue in top 30. AVCA has them in top 20. Only tool that has them out is RPI. Will committee look at anything but RPI? Michigan State and Minnesota are similar to Purdue. Can't believe Big Ten gets only five teams in. Eh, I don't think Purdue will keep those rankings after getting blown out twice this past week. Sparty would be more deserving IMO.
