So from the articles: Saunders can hit from either pin, puts up a big block, and has a heavy arm. Needs to work on her ball handling.
Juley is talented but hasn't been training as a setter for very long. With EJ being a senior and LC having 2 years left, Hannah might redshirt.
Morgan has a good slide and can cover ground quickly on the block (to be expected for a 6'5" kid), but doesn't have a lot of USA/int'l experience, so the move to college will be a jump.
Williams could be a factor early. She is a quicker, bigger Dom, per Sheff, and he predicts a good connection between her and Lauren.
Duello could also see early playing time. She has a good swing, low errors, and a strong block. Huge upside. Stronger in the front row right now, but has the potential to be a 6-rotation player.
MacDonald is a great "mighty mite," was the best player at the libero camp, and played the closest to what's required in the Big Ten of everyone there. Sheff is really excited to get to coach her.

I dread the day wisconsin fans lose carlini. I predict mayhem and chaos, with a touch of crying Meet 2017 S Sydney Hilley, already committed to the Badgers. This video is her playing 16's, as an 8th grader. Not saying they are eager to see Carlini go, but they'll be fine.

I know! What will happen when our setter is a mere mortal like everyone else's? I'm looking forward to watching Hilley and Juley compete for the starting spot in 2017. Hiley is also an accomplished OH/RS, we could see some kind of a Thomas player, but she could be better... Not quite as tall though. Not yet anyway. Wisconsin could be better in the end in terms of talent next year. Question marks are how long it will take the players to gel, how Sheff will change things up to deal with the loss of Thomas as a second ball option, how healthy will Kriskova be, and how will the team chemistry develop. The latter was a real strong suit of this group. Morey is the natural leader of this group now, Lauren the pivot/leader by example type. Haleigh is kind of the leavening, the control rod. Will be interesting to see how those roles develop, especially in light of Lauren's remarks regarding how she had to learn to be a good teammate!

My sense is the thing really slowing Hannah down has been the injury she suffered last year that put her back a year in development, basically. From what I've read in various places, Williams and Duello are the most likely up front to make an impact. Morgan I feel will be a project for a year - and she was injured for a god part of the year too. Macdonald solves our defense issues and becomes heir apparent to Morey. If there is one thing this year in the B1G proves, it's the impact that freshmen liberos can have. Saunders is a bit of an x-factor, like Bates really. I really want to see Kriskova next year. If she can come back, it solves a lot of depth problems, and shes a six rotation player from what I've heard. Knees are a pain though. What happens to scholarships if Hannah redshirts next year?

So Skjodt got gatorade Indiana POY, but Tionna is picked above her by USA today. Interesting. The competition continues in the B1G.

If Duello starts you got issues, if she plays 6, stick a fork in the Badgers!! That being said, Carlini could make me look good!!! I walked by a few trees in Greeley when we played, gotta have a couple seasoned options to fill graduation losses.....I could be wrong about Duello but don't think so!!!

At any rate, beer will probably be involved. Not quite. Two large trophies. One in November and one three weeks later. With six sophomores, that could be their first of three. And we can make PSU go off sobbing, for once.

So the Missouri Gatorade POY, among her other honors, isn't good? You are the only, and I mean ONLY person to indicate that.

She's good, just might not be Wisconsin good yet!! Transition from HS is as you know pretty tough!! Kinda like golf, pretty humbling game and must be the ultimate teammate!! Gonna play against many with huge props and all trophies stuck on mantles and now totally irrelevant!!!

Well...tell that to Bates. Kids grow pretty darn fast this time of their lives. Still, it will be interesting to see if the upper class people (Fric and Blake) can step up this coming year. There are options.
