My two cents, Karsta Lowe.

I want Logan to make a run for Rio2016. Just one last time. She is playing her best her France right now! She's playing her best? I saw her most recent match with the team starts with a V.. I'm not going to attempt to spell it. And she was shanking balls on serve receive. I've never seen her do that, ever. But I do wish Logan would make some kind of a run. She is the best USA women's player we've had.

Logan would be great on the beach if she committed. The beach game isn't everyone's passion. Murphy looked so uncomfortable setting in that one rotation when Fawcett serves. I'd rather see her first improve her digging, then blocking. Logan did commit to playing beach. It didn't end up being a good match. After two years, she decided indoor was where she belonged. I followed beach volleyball when Logan started playing and she came from an indoor season straight into playing on the beach. Holly McPeak even said how Logan was learning while playing on the AVP. She didn't have an off-season training session with McPeak before the season started because she was playing indoors. Then, she was out for a couple of weeks with an injury. Also, at the time Misty and Kerri, Elaine Youngs and Nicole Branagh were the dominant teams. It was hard for McPeak and Logan to really get to the finals, which they did once that first season. They ended up separating and Logan played with 3-4 other beach players. Therefore, I don't really think she was that committed or could be that committed with all the partner switches. Why I am now interested in beach volleyball is there's been a lot of talk about not having a second USA beach volleyball team after Walsh and Ross. Jen Kessey and Nicole Branagh are back from retirement because they see this as a really good opportunity to make it to the Rio Olympics. Based on what Karch has been saying about going with younger OHs, I'm really hoping that Logan will give beach another try. Right now, she's not going to Rio on the indoors team, but maybe if she finds the right partner, she can at least fight for a spot on the beach. Karch didn't start playing beach until he was 33. Logan is around 33. Not a bad time to switch over.

That wasn't true her 2nd season, when she was on the beach from day one with Holly. Their results weren't bad at all, really, given Logan was still relatively new to the beach and Holly was in the sunset of her career. But the issue wasn't losing to EY/Nic or Misty/Kerri, it was losing to teams like Akers/Lima and More/Stonebarger. Holly dumped Logan two thirds of the way through the season for Hochevar, and Logan finished up playing with Diane DeNecochea and then Nancy Mason. At the end of 2007, Logan decided beach volleyball wasn't what she really wanted to do - but that doesn't mean she didn't give it a real shot. She did. The chances of Logan: A) coming back to beach after not having her toes in the sand for eight years, and B) having any shot at the Olympics if she did are pretty much zero. And Karch had nearly fifty wins (P&R, AVP) before he was thirty. He was winning major beach tournaments when he was 16. Karch playing beach when he was 33 and Logan playing beach at 33 is completely irrelevant.

I know the French league is not a strong league, but she is putting up decent numbers. Overall, I am just sad she will no longer be playing for Team USA in far future... :-( ha ha.. I agree, she is best USA Women's player to ever play the game! ;-)

Don't think it will happen but I would love to see Logan give the beach one more try. She needs a partner to mesh well with her both personality wise and volleyball wise.

Karch grew up playing on the beach, Tom didn't. She should still be on the NT.

She would want to be on the NT if the coach wanted her to be.
Your word play as usual fools no one.
