Watched some great VB in Burnsville. 17-1 NL look great, took all teams in 2, including 16-1. Some players on sidelines, Other players stepped up. Hayden was unstoppable. Fun to watch her explode in front and behind the service line.

Watched all 3 of her matches this past weekend. Her hitting was very good and her serves kept the opposition out of system the entire day. Will she ever be a 90% server with that serve? Never but I still say she has the best serve in Mn Club ball hands down. It is a mini jump serve with incredible force and top spin. D1 vs D2 level has yet to be determined but she played much better this weekend than earlier in the year. Been a lurker for a long time around here so I thought I'd sign up...

I understand that Hayden also had a back injury that kept her out of the first 75% of the regular high school matches during fall season. Good to hear she is getting back in the groove and still cranking away.
How is her defense, however?

Stanford could really use a great serving sub ... tell me more about Hayden? Any data on her ball speed? What is her height? Is she a lefty?

She is a righty, and a legitimate 6'0". That's all I can say with certainty.

6 0", Righty. It is great to see her back on the court. Fun to see Defense is good. Maybe get a radar gun to clock her jump serves! LOL

Looks like Iowa is taking in everyone from the NL 16-1 team. Halle Johnston and Brie Orr have committed to Iowa. Bond is grabbing some elite prep players.

I thought I read on this site that Orr was being recruited by Minnesota, Nebraska, and other top 25 teams. How does she end up at Iowa. Was Iowa a better fit?

Not Nebraska. I think Missouri?
We'll see about Iowa. He has been getting players Minnesota has not offered, other than maybe Orr.

Fairly certain that a hard serve, no matter what speed, is not going to gain you entrance to Stanford. They are looking for a great deal more than just a good volleyball player

Congratulations to Mn Select 18-1 on winning JVA World Challenge 18 Open division this past weekend in Louisville. They beat Munciana-Samurai in Semi Finals and Spvb Elite in Finals.
Are gophers recruiting Jen Mosser? I know they have two 2017's verbaled in Kleimann and Martin.....
