According to the lives stats plummer and lilley combined on a block... ok... Its actually happened twice according to the stats. It was during Pittman's really long service run, so I imagine it was Stone (#19) and not Lilley (#9)

Damn, this is not as tight as expected. If USA closes out this set, then 3 of the 4 pool winners will be out of the Final 4.

Lanier, Sun and Plummer are arguably the best trio of pin hitters in this tournament. I like their potential of finishing Germany in 3 sets and with the match up vs China.

The times Lilley has been in, it seems like the hitters connect just a bit better. Curious if she continues starting (seems likely).

Also Paige Hammons and Butler got some playing time. Plummer had 9 kills on 14 attempts wow. I don't know how many errors yet but that's still good

According to the lives stats plummer and lilley combined on a block... ok... vblyf- This is actually quite common, at least in the college game, to credit players with a 1/2 block. If two go up for it, instead of trying to determine who actually touches it, they give the credit to the two players forming the block. Go USA!

I think this was more referring to the rotational impossibility/illegality of the setter and opposite combining on a block.

I know... i thought it was funny because plummer is an opposite and lilley is a setter so they shouldnt be in the front row together. And great game usa!
