Despite current trends toward 20%, I still stick with 15% when tipping cows. Not entirely sure what you're talking about.

Not entirely sure what you're talking about. i go with 20% to 25% at the lower end dairys - those cows work their tails off for the more plush ranches - the cows have to earn their keep - might be 10% if the service is off an steak not done correct, have to earn that 20% at th higher end I'm not sure either

How will the loss of CT affect Cal Poly? CAL POLY has hired Jason Borchin to replace Chris Tamas. Jason comes from Sac State, where he was an assistant for the past six years. Also,...a UOP 2010 grad.

Is it true that Cassidy Pickrell transferred out of UC Irvine??
She was their most impressive player when I saw them last year.

While there's no question that Pickrell was a valuable part of the Anteater offense, the team has RS-Junior Victoria Dennis who stepped up in a big way last season against some very tough opponents. At 6'3, she has the ability to hit over many blockers on the left pin, and has shown very solid ability to block attacks from opponents. She was recently named to the 2015 USA Volleyball Beach High Performance Elite 10 Under-23 team. I would expect her to gain even more experience, strength and skill from her participation in that elite group. Could this be the basis for a real move toward a sand team for UCI?

Why the mass exodus? Clearly each one has their own reasons, but curious minds want to know. just a guess - the previous coach recruited all these players that left the previous coach was respected and the only Fullerton coach in a gazillion years that had delivered any success (a Big West title & a POY) and the only coach that beat LB in 30 years the program has been bad for so long gonna be hard to turn around a program after it's already hit the iceberg Fullerton starting Players that left sure ended up a decent schools (USC, Pacific, Arizona, Biola, Tennessee) so the program was pointed in a good direction but with all the changes, a step backwards could not be something of a shock. Rebuilding is going to take time and school needs to support the program or it will always be in that mode. With all the top volleyball clubs in the area, they need to tap into that or it will never happen. That falls on the staff and school.

Do you think Dennis would be paired on the #1 team if UCI had a sand team? Did any other Big West players make the U23 team?

If she does real well this summer, Anna the USA/USC Coach will poach her and she will leave after the fall indoor season to play at USC in the spring. That's how it works.

Does UCI have space for sand courts on their own campus? For a school like UCSB the beach is literally a part of their campus so for them it shouldn't be too hard, but that is not the case for UCI.

I don't have any idea; it is just the first time I've seen of a UCI player being recognized as an accomplished sand player. Who knows if the UCI admin would ever fund a sand program. It would be nice, though.

I suppose that could happen, but I'd like to think she would finish out her degree at Irvine. I believe that would still leave her a fifth year of eligibility for sand somewhere else. The best of both worlds.

UC Irvine is walking distance to the city limits of Newport Beach, so it would be a very short drive to the beach at Newport for games and practices for a beach VB team.
