Murray HM? As good as Benson is overall, Murray was the the third best middle in the conference after UH's.
Regarding LBSU, they'll be great next year IMO. But is Missy Owens not gonna be able to step in at setter?

Murray was injured much of conference, and so in conference she clearly wasn't one of the best or as dominant as Benson was in conference - HM is fine
Dissapointed Mykah Wilson didn't make all-frosh, giving her solid play plugging in at the Opp, & then then back to her standard position at libero, but she also missed games to injury

What happened to Miller and Atkinson? Injuries? Other issues? I know Miller didn't play at all after the Hawaii match.

But is Missy Owens not gonna be able to step in at setter? $64 question re: Owens...LBS does have an outstanding, and I mean outstanding freshman setter coming in however....if they get their starting RS hitter from last season back and in a relatively good physical state, along with the recruits coming in LBS could pose a serious threat to UH next season.....

Both left the team....never to return.... Any specific reason why? I think bill is using a little sarcasm. Who knows for sure. Unless he knows the girls personally and can't say. Either way, none of my business.

Oh no, please I don't want to hear anymore bad news regarding the Big West. She was expected to start for the Beach, but was injured prior to the beginning of the season.

She was expected to start for the Beach, but was injured prior to the beginning of the season. Losing Atkinson is not as big of a loss for the Beach as one might think. Developmentally, Atkinson never realized her potential as the 71st best recruit out of the 2014 class. More importantly, Atkinson was apparently asked to leave the team because her behavior, and attitude, were detrimental to team cohesion. No program wants to lose a 6'5 outside hitter; however, Atkinson was not a good fit for the Beach. All the best to Atkinson at Purdue.

So who's getting better next year and who's getting worse? Never really followed the conference, but have been interested since my debate on tournament bids in this thread. Will look forward to watching a few matches next year in place of the PAC. Can anyone compete with Hawaii? Will the lower end teams pick it up to improve the conference RPI?

Atkinson is a talented player but a long and consistent pattern has developed. She had problems with her club coach, her high school coach, and now her college coach. She is all about "me" and has a bad attitude to boot. She can be a big addition to Purdue or be a problem. Hopefully she has learned a valuable lesson and chooses to be a great teammate and player.
