c4 will not be happy but she does not belong on the floor except as a serving sub. Didnt you say at the beginning of the tournament that any team with her as an attacker should be able to win the world cup? I included her in the list but third down from Radewo and Lowe. But that assumed average passing, not poor passing. Time goes on unless Larson and Banwarth poach her passes which probably won't happen Hill needs to be benched as a back-up or serving sub. Your memory is quite biased, but par for the course from many posters here.

Not very many comments on how Hill had a 1-on-1 swing on set point and she went well wide, but by all means it was the setters fault that hitters were struggling. (and to make it clear, I am by far a fan of Alisha Glass. I just think some of the comments are ill-advised..) The real problem is she received exactly half of the serves in the match and only passed 23% of them excellent. c4 will not be happy but she does not belong on the floor except as a serving sub. Dietzen's scream shows the real desperation behind this roster and system. Fat lady sang well. Nothing will change until we have a new coach. Just curious, what do you think an outside hitter should be passing?

All I know is USA better get their ish together. Everyone is going to watch the video and see how Russia beat them which is easily to visualize in video but the little tactical and technical is what I would be looking at. Ha
It was a good match though. Too bad so sad I would say.. haha..

Because we don't have the players. To remain anonymous..

Is it just me or does Dietzen look EXTREMELY tired to Yal? I've noticed lately she looks like she has gotten no sleep. Sucks that she has problems with her knee. Personally, from he experience in London and WC, she's one of the best blockers in the world winning best blocker in tournaments and can hit the slide the best in my opinion. Hoping for a full recovery for Rio

Just curious, what do you think an outside hitter should be passing? Minimum 30% positive. That 7% deficiency itself was responsible for 3 lost points from Hill especially since Glass and Kreklow are not the best OOS setters. The second and third sets were only lost by two points so if Hill had only 33% negative instead of 41% negative USA probably could've won the match. Obviously Glass was having less than average night so no guarantee, Karch be Karching you know.

Not sure if she looks more tired or not, but to me, her face has gotten more angular and sunken...

Did you need something? This time of year people who actually do things in volleyball get a little busy. If you're wondering if you can get off the security watch list at the training center i'm sorry that the answer is still "no".

Obviously Glass was having less than average night so no guarantee, Karch be Karching you know. So our libero and the DS were only at the minimum excellent receiving rates for an outside hitter? Given their roles, shouldn't they be higher? What you're asking for as a minimum positive percentage (66%) would be an elite percentage for a receiver against top competition. And you're asking for that as the minimum. (For context, Larson was at 56/29 in WGP Finals - and it seems you've all agreed the competition there was crap). Do you really think we lost because of passing yesterday? It wasn't like we couldn't run middle. We ran a ton of it. Our middles just didn't put the ball down at nearly the rate we expect.

From what I understand she was leading the team in blocks at the semi final and Final of world championship too? Lol you play through a knee injury and see if you play lights out. K THANKS
