If Alcorn State is off the winless list so should Mississippi Valley. Mississippi Valley's lone win was over an NAIA school, Alcorn's six wins were all against Div. II, NAIA, and a junior college.

Ugh - poor Fullerton still on the list.
5-set losses to Alabama, Central Michigan, UC Riverside, and UC Irvine...

5 set losses aren't bad according to Pablo. But the admin can't be too happy with the results from the new staff at Fullerton.

There's a little bigger premium on winning this year, so 5 set matches are worse than they used to be, especially 5 set losses at home. They are much worse than before. Teams that win close 5 set matches at home really underperform in future matches based on the point difference.

But you may have noticed that the range has expanded a bit this year (and you can see that the HCA is up as well). That's because the winning premium is making outcome differences larger than they were. The effect of the point percentage hasn't changed, but there is an additional constant added for the winning team.

A huge test looming for ASU this week....I think they should be the new #1 if they sweep both Washington schools this week.

What is going on with Hartford? Looks like their setter went down? Ran a 6-2 in the last match. It looks like UMass-Lowell (play tonight and one other time) and Quinnipiac are their last chances for a W this season?

ASU now has it's first loss. But the bigger loss may be injury to Gardner.

Jackson State swept Mississippi Valley 25-22, 25-23, 25-6. Washington put a 25-6 score in the opening set on undefeated ASU. They were up as much as 22-4. ASU fought back and were in the lead in Set 2, when Gardner went down to a knee injury, possibly an ACL.
