On behalf of all the visiting teams parents , we would like to thank the Nebraska Cornhusker Athletic Department for their "Mid West" treatment. Unfortunately, that's what happens when athletic departments' primary derective is squeezing out maximum revenue. Comps take a back seat to paying customers. How much revenue are you really talking about, though? And don't the parents pay? (Sorry about my ignorance in these issues).

On behalf of all the visiting teams parents , we would like to thank the Nebraska Cornhusker Athletic Department for their "Mid West" courtesy. Quality seating!!! Remind me exactly why they should cater to visiting teams parents. I get that parents are eager to watch their daughters play but if you want a good seat go watch your daughter at her home gym. I see no problem with this. Want a better seat purchase a better ticket seems to me the solution is simple. I will make sure you have a nice seat on a folding chair on the Track surrounding Rec Hall floor, actually that would be better treatment. No worries.

If the Huskers serve strong and smart (Frantti) I think they will pull out a win here. Last match, Justine dug everything Courtney tried to put down. Heres hoping Kadie has a big game...she always seems to have a slow start playing PSU.

View AttachmentOn behalf of all the past, present and future visiting teams' parents , we would like to thank the Nebraska Cornhusker Athletic Department for their "Mid West" hospitality. Quality seating!!! If all other teams in the conference would sell out every home match & have a waiting list for season tickets holders like Nebraska does maybe those other schools could seat the visiting parents in areas like Nebraska does. Better yet visiting team parents could purchase season tickets to every Nebraska home game & maybe, that's a big maybe, they could get a better seat to watch the match than where they sit now. The cost, around $17 per match plus a seat donation of at least $100.

What the ... 8:30pm? Show some respect for your fans, two thirds of which usually hit the sack by 9pm.

Funny I've never heard anyone complain about the player's pass list seating at Huff Hall in Illinois. Those seats are right behind where the players stand during the match. I had to stand the whole match and still had to look though the players to see action on the near court. What the ... 8:30pm? Show some respect for your fans, two thirds of which usually hit the sack by 9pm. Thank BTN for that.

How much revenue are you really talking about, though? And don't the parents pay? (Sorry about my ignorance in these issues). Quite a bit. It's about keeping the season ticket holders (read: donors) happy. Unless you're just talking about bumping parents up to general admission seats a little closer to the action. I don't have the numbers on that, it could be done, but I don't think it'd be a big difference in view/sight lines for the parents. Even the nosebleeds have a solid view of the action in Devaney. The pic that future posted is deceiving (not intentionally) in that the view is still good unless visually impaired to some degree.

Rooting for Nebraska for RPI purposes. GO HUSKERS! I suppose every advantage matters when on the bubble, but do you have an estimate of how much it'd help Oregon in the RPI standings?

Where does Penn St. football seat visiting parents? How is that remotely relevant?

Housekeeping: Nebraska wins and they'll likely get the #4 or #5 seed. If they lose, they'll probably get the #8 seed. *Would almost prefer a loss to face Texas in tourney instead of likely 4/5 match-up with Washington or Wisconsin. Eh, if Penn State hadn't lost to Michigan, I would argue this match would have to mean something for seeding purposes. Even if Penn State wins (which I am hoping for but think is perhaps not the likely outcome), the two teams would finish tied for second, each with a win over the other. The committee could easily stick to what they would already have planned based on the current RPI, and I'm not so sure that would change much anyway with a Penn State win. Huskers looking at a 4/5/6 seed, Penn State at a 7/8/9 regardless.
