referring to Colorado State most likely, but... take note that this part of the bracket has another team that goes by CSU:
Any love for the Cleveland State University Vikings? haha
USC is my alma mater, and Cleveland State meets the Women of Troy in the first round at Galen Center on Thursday night. CSU won the Horizon League championship to qualify for the tournament. In the league tournament semi-final match, CSU had won the first set against Northern Kentucky, but then dropped the next two. CSU battled in a close fourth set to win and then were strong to win the fifth set too. Finally, CSU swept Valparaiso in the championship match. btw, both of these full tournament matches are on ESPN3 Replay.
CSU is coached by Chuck Voss (16th seasons in charge there; former Ohio State captain setter himself). Christina Toth (senior OH) Aaliyah Slappy and Alexis Middlebrooks (and others) looked impressive in their league tournament. After catching CSU's matches on ESPN3, I’m now looking forward to seeing the Cleveland State team play against 'SC.

It might happen. If not they'll give them a run for their money. North Carolina has to beat UNCW who they lost to and a very good Creighton team. I see Creighton advancing out of Chapel Hill Creighton is no match for UNC. Get ready for a UNC-USC match. I know USC fans are nervous to play UNC and hoping to play Creighton but it won't happen. UNC is not good as last year but will give a good fight to USC.

USC's road to the Elite 8 is like a walk in the park. Not to take anything away from UNC or Creighton, but I don't see those team beating USC at San Diego. UNC will give Southern Cal a match.

Creighton's facility holds more than Kansas and they draw more than other teams that are hosting. Somebody goofed. Kansas plays NCAA tournament matches in 16,000 seat Allen Fieldhouse, not their 1,300 seat gym. Creighton's volleyball-specific arena seats 2,500 comfortably although they can cram a few more in and stay within code. But I don't think size had anything to do with it. This city has 5 arenas of 3,000+ and the school would have surely rented one if size was the issue. Heck, they already hosted Nebraska in one of them this season and drew 10,000+. I think the athletic department simply dropped the ball thinking there was no way the RPI would go so high. The playing facility for KU this time around is Horejis Center, not Allen.

I think scottysocc is asking about streaming for Dec 11/12?? The tournament bracket shows Semifinal 1 on 12/11 at 8:30PM ET on ESPN3 Semifinal 2 on 12/11 at 11:00PM ET on ESPNU/WatchESPN Regional Final on 12/12 at 11:00PM ET on ESPNU/WatchESPN

This is close to the 2008 Pacific regional schedule... one regional semi-final streamed, one on ESPNU and the regional final relatively late on ESPNU. The regional semi-final to make television should be the one involving the regional's top seed (Stanford in 2008, USC in 2015).

USC looking really strong so far in first match up. USC firing on all cylinders, Abercrombie seems to be showing up at the right time. I think being First Team All pac did a lot for her confidence.

USC's road to the Elite 8 is like a walk in the park. Not to take anything away from UNC or Creighton, but I don't see those team beating USC at San Diego. Stanford's road, meanwhile, will be tough. NMSU is good but I think Stanford will be able to handle them. However, either of Colorado State or LMU can upset Stanford. Just I am thinking Stanford is tough at Maples so I have enough confidence on them. Looking forward to a Stanford-Kansas match. How good is Kansas? Havili just won the Big12 SOY. And Payton vs Howard in the Opp. Let the games begin! Do you still think it's a walk in the park?

Three of the four in San Diego already determined: #1 USC, #9 Kansas, and unseeded Loyola Marymount. Joining them will be either #16 Creighton or unseeded North Carolina.

Bummer for Stanford.
All USC has to do now is play the volleyball they're capable of playing, and they should be at the final four.
