But they always had the easiest road to the Final Four until this year. When they face stiffer competition prior to the Final Four guess what, NO Final Four appearance.
Even more stupid than your first comment. Just 2 years ago beat Stafford in regional final. And last year Wisconsin, Big 10 Champs, in the regional final.

Any link to post match press conferences? Mahalo. I'm sure there is, but I relied on my own recording, which I included in the DigNittanyVolleyball match write-up. Here's the link: Respect: Shoji for Rose, Rose for Shoji; Penn State and Hawaii for Each Other; For the 2015 Penn State TeamAnd here's an excerpt: What we took away from Penn State’s 3-0 loss to Hawaii in last evening’s NCAA Regional semifinal in Des Moines Iowa was one word: respect. Most striking may have been the deep respect that both Penn State’s head coach Russ Rose, and Hawaii’s head coach Dave Shoji, showed for the other. Perhaps taking after their coaches, or perhaps because they value excellence and appreciate it in others (more on that notion, below), the players for both teams showed they respected and honored the other team. * * * * Dave Shoji on Hawaii’s Win, Russ Rose and Penn StateIf anyone had any doubts about Hawaii head coach Dave Shoji’s respect for Penn State head coach Russ Rose and the Nittany Lion program, Shoji’s post-match press conference should have spiked them, blocked them, then spiked them again: Asked how it felt to get his first career win against Russ Rose, Shoji said: Russ Rose on Dave Shoji, Hawaii, Penn State’s Performance, and an Up and Down Season
Prior to the match, Coach Rose had commented on the respect the two coaches hold for each other: After Friday night’s match, Shoji confirmed that was exactly what happened: For the complete write-up, with quotes from Coach Shoji, Nikki Taylor, and Coach Rose: Respect: Shoji for Rose, Rose for Shoji; Penn State and Hawaii for Each Other; For the 2015 Penn State Team
