When will the announcement be made of the 2016 All-American teams?

Congrats to USC, clearly the best team this year, and will probably be favorites again next year, although they will get a run for their money from my Bruins, Hawaii and Pepp. I feel like FSU loses too much.
I love how fierce rivals USC, UCLA, Pepp and Hawaii players are on the beach but off they are all best of friends.

Let me take a wild guess: She chose USC over LBS? She originally committed to LB and switched her commitment to USC. She committed to Long Beach's indoor team. Then, decided she just wanted to play beach. Or, maybe she found out about Gimmillaro's toupee.

They mic'd up Greg Strange? I hope the broadcast is on a seven second delay. Hahaha. He kept it PG. They showed a few minutes of his commentary on TBS. Huge improvement over listening to the crap that comes out of Anne Marie Anderson's mouth.

Says nothing meaningful. And she adds extra syllable "uh" in between words all the time. I wish they would get someone else.

they should keep the team tourny in the gulf, and then hold pairs a week later in SoCal get the best of both coasts and increase exposure Destination Volleyball interviewed the committee chair about a pairs tournament. The response was that they are really pushing for it, and it should come soon. The issue was cost. If cost is a concern, they definitely won't put it in separate cities on separate weekends. The closest comparison would be to tennis. In 2015, the team, singles and doubles championships were all held in Waco. Team was May 16-19, Singles and Doubles May 21-25.

Or, maybe she found out about Gimmillaro's toupee. Actually at LBS she had committed to play both beach and indoor on an indoor scholarship. Even came to school and had her uniforms chosen with number and personally fitted...then some 'interference' from the coach at USC, the sand coach, and suddenly she decommits...something about honoring your word and your commitment is missing with too many young people today, and certainly in her case a major dose of this problem exists. Went far beyond her de-committing it also impacts the program when you have someone who is the presumed starting setter for 4 years and then suddenly you don't have one...anyway she will forever be viewed as a bit of a villain....But I am sure that the USC sand coach will give her a good life lesson in ethics, honesty, and abiding by your commitments!

Oh god three freaking years you have been saying the same thing, when will you let it go ? Claes made the right choice for her future clearly. Its great and easy to shoot from the hip without the inside facts. KC was asked by SH to join her @ USC after they played together for USAV that summer. AC did not approach KC, SH asked AC to figure out a way for KC to join her to make a run for glory. BG offered SH in 8th grade during a campus visit. Both young athletes made their decisions before an NLI was executed. It was an educational decision and a business decision and was done legally and ethically. When BU left LB it help solidify KC anguish over the tuff decision. So whom is the villain. SH, BU, BG, KC, AC, the parents? Or is it Misty for following the young guns over there too? There is no villain. The young lady made the best decision of her life. 1. saved her knees and being stuck in a mediocre indoor system and team and critical path. 2. upgrade her education and alumni potential 10-100x. 3. Hooked up with the perfect partner and coaching and team mates. 4. Has a fully funded program now attracting to best talent. 5. Success breeds exponential marketing opportunity that would have never surfaced @ LBS. 6. She and her parents are on cloud nine and thankful. 7. She has a critical life path with far more future than trying to play both sports. 8. no one in their right mind but a selfish self centered LBS lover would blame or shame her from behind a bloggers keyboard. 9. She, her family or her partner, her team mates or coaches will ever look back and say KC made the incorrect, illogical or unethical decision regarding her education or athletic future. BTW-JMHO.

Several players have de-committed, transferred, etc. to USC Beach - AFTER participating in USAV events where they were coached by USC staff. We will never know exactly what was said by whom to whom. However, I know that some college Beach coaches will not sign off on the waiver for their players to participate with USA Beach over the summer anymore because of the ongoing causal effect.

Interesting. Can you name one other than Claes? And any coach who refuses to let players train/play in the USAV HP program is frankly an idiot. Every coach I know very much wants their players in the USAV program.

Anyway, good news for UCLA is that Kamila Tan has decided to stay for another year. She graduated but has one year left of eligibility. After the tournament, she made this decision and shared it with the team. UCLA only loses one player now.

JMHO, with "highbrows who hate rap music." It kinda all reeks. Ridesagain won't defend Pepperdine, as it's a school not to his free thinking liking. There was a someone who decommitted there, correct?! Tho, again, g-lee doesn't include Pepp folks for theyre being Pepperdine folks. "-) haha, but not really.
