I predict Taylor Sander will play one AVP this year. Now that would be interesting. I've seen him play beach a few times. He's very very good and I know he loves the sport. He partnered with Ben Patch at a local tourney a few years ago.

I watched him play a couple of tournaments several years back with J Ring. They won warmups for sure. But that was at least 10 years ago.

What happened to the Priddy rumors? They turned ugly? Sorry, I couldn't resist. You could say that. He was on NetLive today basically saying none of the top guys would play with him even though he offered up his half of the prize money. It does take some time in get out of the blocks, and those others guys are from the school of hard knocks from years of working through the system. RP should grab below that and show everyone he can play on the beach. It just doesn't cross over that easily, imho.

If you are Trevor Crabb why not go with Priddy over a washed up Rosie? I dont think he can win with either, but at least give the unknown a try. That said at 38 I dont see Priddy having that much to offer. I still think Ryan or Trevor should have picked him up

He should be playing in these AVPNext tournaments to at least get some points on the board. Some young players should really look at him, Satterfield, Brunsting. Of course there is always Ratledge....

I do think Priddy is a wildcard that could be awesome and quickly picked up by one of the better blockers when he proves it (Trevor being the most likely).

I think it is hard for any player to walk out and be picked up by a top 8 player. With how good the Qualifiers are now for the FIVB events, players should be apprehensive of not getting out of them automatically. This is how they are making a living. Priddy needs to work on the NORCECA events and AVPs.

The question I have, I assume Priddy has some indoor endorsements, will any of those pay him to play beach? If so, that could open some $$ for his partner too.
