Guessing that won't be available until sometime next week With it being at Texas A&M, would the SEC Network pick it up? It will be on SEC Network+ so if you have a login for SEC Network then you can watch it

The 6-2 looks dangerous for Penn State. I havent seen this team this terminal in the past few years. The got players that will get kills and side out quickly.

Even with the lack of height across the front row (excepting Washington), there is an awful lot of offense for opponents to consider.

Stanford has had a history of great coaches, and the program continues, regardless of who is at the helm. The shade.

Had to dig to resurrect this thread. Anyway...
Where do I start?? So many remarkable things happening for Penn State! Coach Rose has tweaked and massaged the lineup and is getting splendid results. Unlike last season, they've won a couple five-setters on the road. One of those wins was over Stanford. One poster said this team wouldn't improve because they have the same players, assuming no growth or improvement. I know, I know. It's early. But to claim two wins over Stanford in eight days is nice. The 6'6"-6'8" block was a mountain but not an insurmountable one. To out block Stanford 20-12 is notable! Then Washington picks up B1G POW for last week's competitive road weekend. Now Frantti picks up the B1G POW for this competitive road weekend. Lots to be encouraged about with Penn State!

The Big Ten Conference is loaded this year and they are putting up a lot of Wins so far. I think we will see iron sharpen iron as their conference play goes. I don't expect any team to go without picking up at least one loss. The best team will be up for grabs most of the season.

So now that PSU made it through the preseason unscathed and B1G opens Friday with Nebraska, dont be surprised if we see a different lineup or even a straightup 5-1

Why don't you tell us about all the times Coach Rose has unveiled a new lineup for the B1G season?

So now that PSU made it through the preseason unscathed and B1G opens Friday with Nebraska, dont be surprised if we see a different lineup or even a straightup 5-1 I don't see it happening. If he's successful with a modified 6-2 I think he sticks with it in order to maximize the effectiveness of the players in their respective roles.

Maybe maybe but we saw some specialized work this past weekend on the 5-1. Maybe Detering s Reed OPP Washington and Thelen MH Lee and Frantti OH Sciorra as DS for Reed. Serving subs Weiskircher and Pierce The 5-1 gets Washington more balls on the slide All kinds of options.
