Other than Bay to Bay 18-1 and AZ Fear 18 White, no other love for the other Western teams at 17 or 18 (California, Vegas, Arizona)?

According to AES, HBC is sending both their 17's and 18's teams to Chicago. I would expect both teams to finish no worse than third, with expectations that the 17's win it all (finished 2nd in 16 Open in Dallas).

My top 6 for 18s are, in no order. 1. St Louis HP 2. Spri Mizuno 3. Ultimate 18 gold 4. Hitmen 18 Elite 5. Adversity 18 purple 6. Adversity 18 black Traditionally the strongest clubs, I don't think there will be any major surprises. Don't know strength of California teams coming, HBC could be top 4. Not sure about Hitmen or SPRI Mizuno, both teams had injuries during Palos; Hitmen was done a middle and SPRI two outsides. HPSTL did well at the Ulitmate invite but that's very early in the season with teams like SPRI moving players around. My predictions: 1. HPSTL 2. Adversity Purple 3. HBC 4. SPRI Mizuno 5. Hitmen Elite

Ultimate 18 gold have been very up and down this season. I wouldn't even pick them for gold bracket in this field. They have potential to qualify elsewhere but they will have trouble keeping up with the physicality of a lot of teams in the field. Didn't they really only have one bad weekend of palos and that was with 3 people injured.

just to clarify, which non-midwest teams are coming? Looking at the AES website of registered teams, it looks like (for 18's): Bay-to-Bay, The HBC, BRYC, LIVBC, Pittsburgh, Annapolis (Jaylen Jasper's team), and AZ Fear. I only mentioned the teams from outside of the Midwest that I believe could potentially finish well, as there are many more out of region teams attending. It's too bad we won't get to see Titans VBC (Canada) or another elite Pakmen (Canada) team coming down. Also rather surprising to not see Baja (Mexico) or Borinquen Coqui (Puerto Rico). Both teams have attended in the past, but neither will be this year. Should be a great tournament either way though!
