So, are the schedules for this weekend out yet, or should I wait for the "seeding bickering" as an indication the schedules are available . . .

HBC will definitely receive a bid. I did not know about Bay to Bay, the results said they finished 4th.
1. St. Louis HP 2. HBC 3. Spri 4. Hitmen (if outside is healthy) 5. Adversity Black 6. Ultimate
Just miss - Adversity purple Vanguard MVP

You are very correct. I've been keeping up to date on AES of which teams do well, providing users with a new top list every once and a while. However, now that tournaments have ended leading up to the tournament, my list is final^ Curious as to why you leave out HBC I agree, HBC 18s should most definitely be on that list!

The HBC 17s went 0-3 in pool play last weekend. They had some close matches. They lost to Balboa Bay 16s in three sets. Balboa Bay 16s also beat Balboa Bay 17s last week so the BB 16s team is a good team.
Were The HBC 17S missing players? They were able to beat Bones 17 in the playoffs but it was not a good momentum builder going into this weekend.
Is Dennett Kouri playing in this tournament for The HBC 17s. He is not listed on The HBC 17s roster.

Baja 17 10. Bay to Bay 17-1 I'm wondering why Ultimate is so high and why Pakmen is the highest Canadian team and not Durham Attack

Baja 17 10. Bay to Bay 17-1 HBC has to be the front-runner in this tournament simply because of their experience as a group (gold bracket each of the last three years including silver and bronze medals). Arizona Fear will surprise some teams because they are huge (6'8 setter). They took HBC 15-13 in the 3rd at the Holiday Classic. LIVBC will also be very good and has a lot more confidence because of their 5th place finish at nationals after being seeded 21nd. HVA and BRYC are small teams that are very scrappy and have been open-level teams the last couple of years. HPSTL, Ultimate, and MVC are all good, open level teams but I think HPSTL is the best out of the three. Bay to Bay seemed to be a competitive team at the Northern California tournament from what I saw online (took MVVC to 3 and lost 15-11). Durham Attack should be the 2 or 3 seed, so it's ridiculous that they are #15. I think they did an alright job with the seeding this year, but we'll see who ends up getting bids. I think it will be HBC, Durham Attack, LIVBC, Arizona Fear, HPSTL and MVC, but a case could be made for a lot of teams.
