I believe the results so far:
9th place: Oregon tied for 7th: Cal, Utah tied for 5th: ASU, Stanford
The four teams still in contention: USC, UCLA, Arizona, Washington

I wasn't able to get this to work at all yesterday (or today) but PAC-12 bonus has quadbox coverage (I assume Courts 1-4) here: pac-12.com/bonusMaybe some of you guys will have better luck opening it than me.

UCLA wins the first set on 4 of the 5 courts. Only Claes and Hughes dominated so far There's kind of an interesting thing with the substitions here. For the PAC-12 tournament there's no substitions/team movement. So if you go out for an alternate due to injury, you are out for the tournament. Joy Dennis has an illness and was sitting out from the start. Nicole McNamara apparently wasn't feeling well but UCLA's keeping her in and hoping she improves during the day because they want her available deeper in the tourney.

Phew, after Anderson/Carey gave up 6(?) match points they finally sealed the win!! Great job by ucla's 3-5 pairs. Honestly, I think that's the only way they could've beat SC, as UCLA's 2s are probably the weakest pair, and for the 1's, they're just not gonna beat Claes and Hughes.
The 1s match was interesting, as in the first set UCLA decided to do the i formation, in order to try to make Megan (the righty) take all the serves while resting Nicole. However after that first set, they went back to normalc except Nicole ended up playing with her right arm the whole time, swinging with it too. Impressive just viewing from an athletic standpoint, but makes me worried what her injury is to her dominant left hand

Yes, that is what other tournaments do, too and I like it. The NCAA rule is there is no subs in an "event". Normally single matches are an event, but this also applies to pairs tournaments. They also check for and disallow sandbagging in tournaments too.

I can't see any other reason to not injury sub her out. I'd find it hard to believe that she is better playing right-handed than whoever UCLA's sub would be.
