Just saw Delsol/Mesko way, way, way down there. They get through this, I'll give them some credit; tough, tough qualifier. Good luck Travis too, nasty. I wouldn't be completely shocked if they didn't qualify. Mesko isn't close to avp ability, and del sol would have to play with a legitimate big to have any kind of success. They had better hope they don't get stuck in olson/cook pod. Will be quite surprised if both Olson/Cook & Brunsting/Samuels don't get in, better teams than any of WCs.

The Partain wunderkinds also will be making an appearance. Willing to bet they don't make it in, and I haven't seen any brackets....

Wow Reid pulled Ricardo again. Wonder how? You know, there were rumors Reid was offering to pay guys before season, wouldn't be surprised if Reid gave up a portion of his take to keep Santos through end of the season. Definitely puzzling.

No sign of Kolinske/Evans, were they blackballed by AVP? Very odd seeing as there are only side tourneys like Seaside to win, which clearly AVP didn't have issue with Zaun or Roberts playing so neither Kolinske or Evans could claim that angle.

Kolinske doesn't agree with the contract as does 95% of the players. They signed because there wouldn't be a tour if they didn't. Real simple...But this subject has been talked about enough so I won't go any further!

They are playing NORCECAS/FIVB so i would assume it has something to do with the ethics of the contract.

Slim maybe but lets not forget that only the new scoring rule kept them from beating Brunsting/Samuels. if the AVP were going to pass out WCs the way they did here, I think the Partains would have made an excellent recipient, people want to see them.

Agreed, there is a difference between a principled stand and dying alone on a hill for no reason. The contract currently restricts players from competing on a non-existent second tour. Maybe Billy is thinking he will get to partner Casey as one of the American teams on Leonard's three event tour next year, but since the AVP guys played in the World Series this year, that would seem like a poor bet. Billy is 31, and doesn't exactly have a bright future ahead of him. Why not swallow what is now basically a placebo and go enjoy playing professional beach volleyball

Kolinske is what he is. Evans is the real wtf. No known stance against the contract, he is 27 with some ability, it's like he's holding out simply to play with kolinske.
