I like our top 4 teams heading into 2018. I'd put this depth up against Brazil, and Germany. (No Order) Summer/Brooke April/Alix Kelly/Sarah Day/Britt Unfortunately you can't put them up against the German #1 team, Laura's declared herself out for the season. Not an injury this time, but pregnant. well, I didn't count Kerri, so we'll call that even.

Any idea when we can expect qualification info etc for this event? It starts in five days. Does anyone know what US teams are in the CQ? Qualifier?

I find it crazy that Fendrick/Cook is in the Main Draw and Ross/Klineman are in the CQ. I understand the points process, but still find it crazy.

It’s cause Fendrick played a tournament or two with Lane Carico when April was injured so she has more points than April since both Karissa and Alix have no FIVB points.

Thanks for posting that. So my reading is that the winner of April/Alix v Larsen/Flint plays Britt/Em to get into the qualifier. (May not have the qualifier part right but I think a country's 4th team always needs to qualify)
My predictions for the women in a super weak field
Alix/April beat Betsi/Kelly
Em/Britt beat April/Alix, qualify, and finish 9th
Lauren/Karissa finish 9th Summer/Brooke finish 5th Kelly/Sara finish 3rd
Duda/Agatha beat the Czech girls in the final

Really hoping they stream a lot of these matches. Really interested to watch our women’s side to see what happens. Some compelling story lines.
Ross/Klineman - will they dominate of take awhile to get adjusted Hughes/Claes- can they keep momentum going from AVP Championships Day/Hochevar - will hey step up and make he moves to be in main draw consistently. Flint/Larsen- can they make the moves needed to be in main draw.
All very exciting

But semifinals and finals are mostly streamed for sure.

The website kind of mentioned some stream but not sure what’s included. I could have been reading into it, with wishful thinking.

The beachstream is only for the 5* major events (looking forward to Ft. Lauderdale, Gstaad, Vienna, and Hamburg Finals in 2018!). It’s up to the organizers to stream on YouTube. For the 2* Sydney event a few weeks ago, they streamed matches before the semis. But super excited for this #ATeam debut. Their coach Jen Kessy is going with them too to The Hague! I wonder if they’ve chosen a team name yet...

Don't forget that betting sites such as Bet365.com normally offer streams of most matches. Not high-quality streams, but good enough to watch your favourite matches.

So that means in order to get to the main draw, a team in the qualifications would have to win two matches.
