With 2018 underway, might be good time to start list of teams planning to play together for at least beginning of AVP season. Add on what you know:
Phil/Nick Gibb/Taylor Rosie/Crabb Casey/Stafford Ryan/Billy Theo/Hyden Chase/Avery Ed/Eric
Reid (after Casebeer disaster)?

Eric playing another season with Ed? That seems like a step backward

Eric playing another season with Ed? That seems like a step backward Eric struck out in attempts to land a top blocker, will likely stay with Ed until upgrade is available. If I were him, I'd be calling Casebeer after that bad result Jeremy had with Reid. Clearly he's looking around beyond Mayer.

Or what about Eric with Reid?

What’s everyone’s opinion about Reid going Tokyo 2020 and with whom?

Or what about Eric with Reid? While both possess size to block on non-elite level, both are seeking to stay defenders by all accounts.

My prediction ist Reid & Tri.
And I don't think Jeremy and Reid should split right now. This Team can work with some preperation. It was one indoor event and only one match (ok this one was quite embarassing).

I hope Tri can come back he seems like a really good guy, but auto immune diseases don't usually work that way

Here are the top 30 ranked men, Mayer and Ricardo are the 2 highest. (which would make a great team) But I'm going to say Ricardo plays with Chaim. This is where I'd love USAV to come in and subsidize Mayer to play with someone like Cook. Lets see if this kid can cut it. Hell, i'd for real throw in $1k to make it happen.

How come Nick has more points than Phil?

How come Nick has more points than Phil? Because Phil played Seattle with Roberts, it pushed out Huntington. Nick still gets to use that one.

I can't find the actual method, but it looks like either 4 of your last 5 AVPs or 4 best finishes in the last year. (you can skip over AVPNext to go to a further back AVP). No Nick's last 5 doesn't include Seattle, but Phil's does.

If it’s 4 best finishes, then Phil and Nick should have the exact amount of points (3 wins and a second place finish at Chicago).

Yes I thought it was 4 best finishes in last 365 days, but obviously something more to it if Nick has more than Phil.
