Thanks. It figures that doof Wolfgang would make a movie reference from nearly 40 years ago, before I was old enough to watch movies. LOL! I'm sorry that you can only watch movies made after you were born. You are missing out on some good ones! JK! ;-)

North Carolina, it seems, has some internal problems. Too much talent and poor results. I feel that North Carolina, Ohio State and Northwestern might need a change at the front of the bench Hot seat thread? I can see that for Ohio State. NC just re-upped his contract last year, right? And NU. Well damn, seems so soon. I honestly see someone like Temi leaving before him. She is a powerhouse talent. UNC has turned it around it seems the last month. If you asked me in September, I would say Joe and staff were one foot out the door. But with recently going 9-2 in their last 11, I think Cunningham will stick with him. The players and coaches have better attitudes now and are establishing a better culture. Sophie did not feel as though she personally fit with the new culture and systems. There was more to her decision than just UNC struggling earlier in the season....

If she plans to sign her LOI in November, than this is definitely a very late change. But she can also sign her LOI next Spring, or a grant in aid all the way up to the time she starts attending classes at her school of choice.
Perhaps she already has a school in mind. Perhaps she will start taking some official visits the next few weekends.
I'm sure she'll land in a good spot.
Interesting that a top school would still have a scholarship available this late in the game. But look, now UNC does. JMac liked to hold onto a scholly in case a quality transfer came knocking, and KCook looks to be doing the same. I'm sure other coaches do the same. Of course, JCook would just push someone out, although that's now much harder to do, with four-year schollies and the portal.

When is National Signing Day this year? November 13th One change to remember effective this year is that there is only one continuous signing period now. Once the signing period starts on the 13th, it does not end until next July or August. A player can sign any time in the next several months.

I'm hoping for another Sophie to be made available so that I can repeat my Sophie's Choice joke again.

Nothing better than a drive by from a person with 6 posts taking pot-shots at a coach. It's that time of year again!

Tons of ex players showed up this weekend for alumni weekend and hung out with coach. I am sure he does have some players that felt like they didnt get the role they wanted, but his ex players love him.

I'm hoping for another Sophie to be made available so that I can repeat my Sophie's Choice joke again. Unlike Chauncey Gardner, she didn't enjoy the thought of being there.
