Something about a genuinely simple and honest guy who everyone thinks is a complex genius and thus, has all sorts of opportunities and access to the most exclusive circles in society...

Huh. Didn’t know that. The wording is pretty optimistic. This at least means that Maryland has reached out to Fischer. Not sure what her level of interest would be. Fischer visited Nebraska this past weekend.

Where were all these schools earlier in her recruiting process? Looks like she committed shortly after her freshman year. I suppose she has grown a lot as a player since then as she is in high demand now.

Every recruit has different reasons for selecting a school. Yes, Nebraska is a top program. But, she won't start there at either pin in 2020. Some players are willing to wait one season to start, others are not. Some believe they can come in and earn a starting spot over the incumbent(s).
We've now seen mention of Maryland and Penn State as other suitors; perhaps she'd start immediately at one or both of those schools.
We'll see if she makes more official visits in the coming weeks.

Penn state has been HOT after her for some time now. Maryland is the only surprise wrinkle I've heard about. Fischer can also start as a MB for Nebraska with ease for her 1st season as well. I believe she will chose a school to help her develop for a potential national team run. Rose and cook could both help accomplish that for her.

North Carolina, it seems, has some internal problems. Too much talent and poor results. I feel that North Carolina, Ohio State and Northwestern might need a change at the front of the bench Hot seat thread? I can see that for Ohio State. NC just re-upped his contract last year, right? And NU. Well damn, seems so soon. I honestly see someone like Temi leaving before him. She is a powerhouse talent. Honestly don’t care how good Northwestern is. Just want more excuses to see Shane 🤤

I suppose she has grown a lot as a player since then as she is in high demand now. The age old maturing into ones' priorities also factors in. Maybe CH doesn't have what she seeks in terms of school experiences/major or maybe she's placing higher priority on being in a legacy program…who knows. Much luck to her in the coming weeks as she figures out where her life takes her for the next few years.

I feel a bit sorry for this freshmen class as they don't get to make the "splash" onto the college scene because of Covid, and still won't with all the seniors apparently staying around for the 2021 school year. Was just recently rewatching some of the 2020 NIT. I think Camryn Hannah could do some big things for Clemson, and possibly even more. She seems like the type of player who, perhaps after a year or two of good training at OH, ends up transfering to Penn State.
