What's the best way to make crab salad? I make mine with shallots, Mayo, celery, a touch of old bay, dill, salt and pepper. It’s pretty traditional, other than the old bay. You can sub paprika if you want a smokier, less salty flavor, or sub cayenne for a little bit more of a kick. Just make sure you give it enough time in the fridge so that all the flavors come together first.

I've become a fan of hummus. Though I'm not addicted, I've been eating bread and hummus every day as a snack.

Going to COSTCO. We ran out of flour.
I've scoured all of the local grocery stores and a 5-lb bag of flour (all-purpose) is in the $2.99-$5.99 range. (I already have a whole bunch of whole wheat, spelt, rye, and buckwheat flours.) I can get a 25-lb bag for $6.99 at COSTCO. That's so effing cheap!

Blue Bell ice cream is THE best. Sometimes I skip dinner and use those calories for an extra big bowl of vanilla with chocolate syrup and peanuts, or cookies and cream with nothing.

What's the best way to make crab salad? Why bother? Crabs don't eat salad anyway.

Sorry, homemade is the best. Yes, this is true but I hate clean up. What ice cream maker are you using? I forgot what mine is. Maybe Oster? I don’t use a lot of cream so our ice cream comes out solid as a block of ice. When I add a lot of cream — or th amount recommended in the recipe book — it turns out okay but I feel like a fatty afterwards. Also, I don’t know if I mentioned this but I hate clean up.

Sorry, homemade is the best. I should have said store bought brand. Of course, homemade is best!!!! Blue Bell comes pretty close.

Yesterday, I ran out of dark chocolate-covered almonds, so I drove to Sprouts solely to buy more.

Bought a Costco Turkey Provolone sandwich $3.99. I'll munch down on it after my exercise.

You know what I've recently grown to love? The Chinese chili garlic sauce. I've always seen them at Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese restaurants in my area but was not sure what it really was so I never tried them. I finally did a few months ago and, it took some getting used to, but I love it now. It's super spicy hot but I like spicy hot stuff. I now buy bottles of them from the grocery store and apply them everywhere.

I'm debating whether to fill out this online KFC survey to get a free chicken sandwich on my next visit to KFC (with purchase of a drink).

Yesterday, I ran out of dark chocolate-covered almonds, so I drove to Sprouts solely to buy more. Oddly enough...we haven't been able to find dark chocolate covered almonds in the stores. Not sure if there is some type of shortage or what but this has been for the past couple weeks.
