If UH somehow needs an emergency middle it will be Anastassiades over anyone else. He is in the best shape of his life and should help more this upcoming season. I think Hogland and Wong will redshirt, they need to get stronger.

I'll be the first to admit it (sorry my friend Tani), if in facts these are more or less what we're expecting; my doubts are withering away, my respect for Wade is bubbling, someone, anyone, correct me if I'm incorrect here.

The Warriors IMHO look the best that they've ever been able. When UCLA comes knocking for transfers, something's up.

There's simply no need to be that jealous one for life, 4life. It's Brett RoseNMEIER and Matt RoseNFELD, then, glasses. "Hmmmm?" You likely don't know too much about VB if you've not seen Johnson's skill set, concluding that he's got good form w lots of promise. '-)

'-) No jealousy at all, just stating facts and opinions based on years of watching, and playing, volleyball (so perhaps you can put to bed your issue with my knowledge of vball).
It's Jake MEYER whom I was referring to...glasses?!
D. Johnson's skillset...been watching him since he was 13...he is far far from a blue-chipper...was easily the weak link on the SMBC Pali team.

Cute video...wonder who put this one together? And why are all of the highlights from high school and not club?
Listen, Devon is a very good player, just nowhere close to a blue-chipper.

Missing Stihn Van Tilburg SR OH AVCA All American 1st Team. Devon Johnson FR OH on Fab 50 list, assuming he is good. Missing Jakob Thelle, a FR setter on Norwegian national VB team, and Fab 50 FR setter Brett Sheward. There is also FR OPP Alakai Todd, don't have anything on him except that he is tall and green. Also missing Fab 50 FR MH Cole Hogland. This new crop of players and Humler will represent the 808 well in the years ahead.

Hello and goodbye Matt August, we never got to know you. With Meyer, Larson, Liva and August not returning or even showing up,this leaves us very thin at MH yet again. Charlie Wade really needs to make MH a recruiting priority for next season. If Meyer had stayed, he would have seen court time this year. Are we sure he's not returning? So. Matt August went to UCI, to IVC, to Hawaii, to IVC, to Hawaii and now gone?

I merely disagree 4life. The boy/man has great bodily control. This makes him more great than good imo.

If Devo can put on some vertical, he could be a threat. Until then, his future is on the sand

If Devo can put on some vertical, he could be a threat. Until then, his future is on the sand Pls. He's 6'7. A sand player at that height, not a middle, mind you, is already a threat. Kong block or NOT. haha
