Not even close to the same situation. Hinkle’s injury is just bad luck and not a reflection of her ability until she’s healthy. Since more than half your last 10 posts are about Hinkle I'd guess you know way more about her injury than I do - or anyone else does on VT. I didn't even know she was injured. I hope she is healthy and playing again soon.

I was at MNLQ this past weekend and asked someone from her club.

In fact this question about Hinkle is the first time you've posted in over a year. Your last posts on VT (in December 2019)? With me... about Hinkle! This also isn't the first time you've posted about her injuries that I haven't seen reported on VT. So no, I'm sure you're not a stalker and I hope your daughter gets healthy soon.

Whoa.. level down. A year ago, the injury was talked about during one of the games and IDK, you had a lot to say with all the inside metrics you acquired and your analysis of each defender. Your posts on these boards are pretty educational, and entertaining...that’s why people follow you. Today, I had something to add. Maybe not true then. Haha! Not her parent, but we all share your sentiment for good health. ***I have a different name on the B10 boards and recently posted there this year as well. I want to go on record and say that I have not produced any B10 players either.

Setters do not improve under Sealy(a setter himself) he just seems to bring in another one and the same thing happens

All up in their heads and not natural. Sarah Sponcil transferred as a Senior right? Too late to change technique, so she could let her athleticism take over. She was sure fun to watch.

They ended up losing that tightly-contested match vs. Virginia. I can't remember if she was consistently taking second contacts if she was backrow and the setter took the 1st contact. I want to say she did, because I remember LMU playing their liberos in middle back and sponcil in left back. They didn't 'do' backrow attacks so that didn't matter and most of the time they wouldn't block opposition backrow attacks either.

Hey I have a question, I always see threads bashing Michael Sealy with no context and I was just wondering what he did? I thought he was a good coach because of the moderate success UCLA has had during the 2010s (national championship, multiple post season awards, making it pretty far in the tournament except for one year when they didn’t make it)

UCLA should NEVER miss the tournament. EVER. They should be an at least sweet 16 team every year if not better

They should be a perennial Top 10 team. That's the critique.

Makes sense though, he isn’t training them as well as he should.

I said it in the Pac thread, but Banachowski was 47-5 against Oregon. Sealy is 10-10. There's been a decline.
